8 Chapter 6: Jason

Ashley wakes up in a hospital bed. She can see doctors and nurses but can't speak yet. Jason comes in and asked the doctor how Ashley is doing. He says, "She is finally awake but it seems she can't communicate with us." He continues, "That is natural because she's been in a coma for a year."

Ashley is surprised to hear that she was out for so long. Jason goes to her and tells her, "Sorry that I didn't stop the soldier but, I am happy to see you Ashley." She smiles at him and blushes. Jason asked Ashley, "Your eyes weren't always silver with red right?" She shakes her head no.

He says, "So you're a werewolf now right?" She nods her head. Jason helps her get up and walk. He takes her to the hospital garden and says, "Ashley, I thought I would have lost you there but, I had hope that you wouldn't die." Ashley looks at Jason and hugs him.

The General comes out and says, "Jason stop flirting with the girl, there is an army of Ghouls heading towards here." Jason looks at Ashley and says, "See you soon." Ashley looked around and a nurse brought her a white tank top, military camouflage pants, military grade boots and socks.

Ashley is dressed and gets escorted to a training field for new recruits. The room is full of weapons and obstacles. In the corner is a cage filled with Ghouls that have collars on. Two soldiers escort a vampire to a cell. The vampire has white hair and golden eyes.

She looks to be 17 years old. Ashley watches as the vampire goes into the cell. Ashley gets taken to the weapons section to receive her tools. A man in the section says, "Hello my name is Robby, but you can call me Rob. How may I help you?"

The escort says, "Weapons for werewolves and an ID collar." The man tells Ashley to sit on the stool while he sets up the machine. He gives her metal gloves with spikes on her knuckles and puts the collar on her. The gloves cause her nails to grow and get sharp. The collar scans her and says, "Ashley Maria Martin soldier #300."
