7 Chapter 5: Ambush

There is still battling around the park. The man looks around and Ashley kicks him. He throws her to the ground and laughs. She rolls and gets up filled with Rage. Her eyes glowing silver and her teeth and nails sharp.

She runs at him and claws at his chest and jumps back. His eyes glow red and his teeth and nails grow sharp too. They both run at each other with the intent to kill one another.

She slides under his legs while clawing them. He turns around and smacks her away. He takes a step towards her and BOOM! His leg gets shot off. He falls to the ground in pain. Ashley gets up and walks towards him.

He looks at her and says, "Kill me, take my powers and be done with it." She says, "What power do you speak of?" He says, "You will become an Alpha." She walks up to him and slashes his throat with her claws. Ashley's eyes start to mix red into her silver color and her teeth and nails grow longer.

She roars loudly over the fighting. Gun shots could be heard from the east. Ashley spots movement in the grass. Bullets start flying and people start dropping dead. A soldier comes out the grass and smiles.

Damian appears behind him and rips his head off and throws it. Ashley could see the fury in his eyes. He disappears in the grass and reappears behind two other soldiers. He grabs one of the soldiers and snaps his neck. The other soldier turns but, Damian grabs him by the throat and rips his heart out.

He crushes the heart and drops the body. Another soldier comes behind him and shoots him in the back. He roars in pain from the bullet wounds. Ashley appears behind the soldier and punches him away with all her strength. She picks Damian up and helps him stand. He roars and all the werewolves start to run away to the exit of the park.

Ashley let's Damian go on his own to the exit. She climbs a tree and looks around the park. Most of the werewolves are gone and the stragglers are being shot at. A soldier goes by the tree she is on and looks around. She lands behind him and smacks him to the ground and takes the gun.

He yells, "Ashley wait it's me!" She looks at him closely and says, "Jason? What are you doing here?" Another soldier comes from behind and hits her on the back of her head with his gun. Ashley passes out.
