Chapter 2

I started jogging. After jogging for around an hour I stopped and started with my exercises. By the time I was done with this , my teammates had already arrived and had started jogging. I went to take my my stick and a ball to practice when someone called my name, I turned around and saw it was my bestie Rachel whom I called Rach. She was the only friend I had. She came running towards me, she was looking so happy. She just came and hugged me, I was confused and asked her "What's the matter?" she said "I'm so happy for you. " I looked at her frowning. she asked "So you don't know? " I nodded then she told me about her talking to our coach and getting to know about me now being the captain of the team.

I was shocked with her reaction. She then looked at me and said "Now I think our team will be civilized under you as you know they kinda obey you cause you're so fierce, anyways, Congratulations!!!" she started hugging me again.

The practice was done, we all took a shower, had changed and were heading to college. Today my first class was algebra which actually for me was sleeping class our professor Mr. Ian Grey didn't care what I did in class, well, actually no one cared what I did so I just went to my seat in the last row corner seat and sat waiting for the class to begin.

After like five minutes Professor Ian came to class with someone, probably a new student. Well I didn't care a bit, so I put my head down and was about to close my eyes when the professor said "You can go and sit with y/n." The class started to whisper. I sat up straight and the class was in pin drop silence. The new student approached me and smiled at me. He was totally mesmerizing, his eyes were dark brown and were shining bright, he had fair flawless skin and his hair were black and messy as if he just ran and came. He reached his hand out and said "Hey, I'm Park Jimin." The whole class was now looking at him with fearful expression. I shook his hand and cleared the place next to me for him to sit. He asked "And you are??" He was looking at me right in the eye. We were staring into each others eyes.

No one in college did that. I was very reserved and cold. I did not talk to anyone except Rach. No one approached me or even tried to talk to me. Everyone just ignored me and I did the same. In fact they were scared of me.

I broke the eye contact and said "Someone who is not interested in talking to you." He was still standing. I looked at him and asked "Are you going to sit cause I did not just clean that desk for you to stand." He just looked at me and sat down. I then returned to my peaceful slumber.

The whole day was totally boring, even though I slept in most of the classes. Now I it was the last class and luckily it was PE and I am pretty good at it. Today we were playing badminton. We all had already changed and were waiting for the PE sir, Mr. Brown.

He finally came in with 7 boys next to him. They all introduced themselves but I didn't listen because I didn't care about who they were or what they like. I just wanted to play.

The teams were made like this, those 7 new boys , 3 other girls and Rach v/s 8 boys, 2 other girls and me.

Mr. Brown started to explain "Now that we have 2 teams we're going to play knock outs. You have to play one on one and if the shuttle falls and touches the ground that person is out and another member of his team will take his place. The team whose team's less members are out that team will be the winner. So teams make your strategies. You have two minutes. " With this he went to get the rackets and shuttle.

The teams were discussing. I was standing in one corner with my back to the wall. I was thinking about the guys who just joined when I sensed someone staring at me. I looked around and saw it was the same guy from class with the new students. They all were looking at me. When I saw them they all turned their heads and acted as if nothing happened. My team members now came to me. Only one boy named Liam Monera, Rach's brother and the only guy in school who talks to me came forward and asked "What are we gonna do? " I was surprised because they were discussing something. So I asked them "then what were you discussing about?" He replied "we tried but couldn't make a strategy. So, help us. " I then sighed and made a strategy. I did not know their names so I pointed out who was to go with which player of the opponent team. After a minute the match started.
