1 Dear Diary

Dear Diary,

I wrote this, as I sat in my bed, with my head against the wall, my knees propped up against my chest, my diary and pen in hand. Is there nothing I can write about today? Nothing? Am I just living a continuous cycle writing the same thing, over and over again. Why? Why is this happening to me. Please just let this be a dream. Please. I opened my eyes, and I knew it was a dream. I got up, rubbing the sleep from my eyes, my shadow black hair, falling at the sides of my face. I looked up, to find myself in the hotel room I had booked overnight, it was simple. After a moment of staring at the wall, I went to shower. As I finished freshening up, I went to take my purse, then suddenly my phone rang, it was an unknown number, but for some reason I picked it up, which I don't do usually.

"Hello, who is this?" I asked, a reply came, probably a boy, my age, "Uhm, Hello. This is Kalanjikov, I'm a resident from Floral Street, house 13. I found a wolf, in front of my house, she seems to be unconscious, I found your number on her name tag. Should I take her to a vet or what would you like me to do?" that was quick, but he sounds genuinely worried, I replied, "If you don't mind, I'd like you take her inside your house, I'll be there in an hour. Will that be fine?" "I'll manage, I've got a big house. What do I do when she wakes up?" "Just bring her some water, and some meat. Also, what name was given on the tag?" "Chika." "Thank you. She's pregnant, so, she might feel a lot hungrier, and don't worry she's tame. But she make a slight growl, just tell her Alpha is coming." I waved over a taxi and got in, I said the address, we were speeding away to his house. I cut the call, and speed-dialed Asoka, "Hey, I found Chika, she was going to that place again, meeting the person who found her, in..." I checked the time on my wristwatch, "Half an hour." Asoka, who never says anything to anyone except her boyfriend on the phone said the usual, "Hm." I cut the call again. Within an exact half an hour I reached Floral Street, as I got down, I handed the driver the money with a ruble, "Keep the tip, you drive well." I walked away, as I went further down the lane, I didn't see any house numbered 13, Was he lying? Is my wolf going to be killed? When I nearly lost my temper, I asked a little boy where it was, he stopped playing and his eyes widened, "Oh! Miss, house 13 isn't a normal house. It belongs to the youngest heir. Shall I take you there? It's a little hard to find." I nodded kindly and said thank you, not a normal house? Then just what was it? I followed the boy through many twists and turns, "Here we are miss. Also, please don't thank me, I was doing a good deed, like my mom always says to do." I patted his head and squatted so that we could be face to face, "What's your name little boy?" "Calvin. Though, my mom always calls me musuko." I smiled, "Well then, Calvin. Thank you for bringing me here. And for a boy your age, you're able to say the Japanese words quite fluently, your mom calls you that because, musuko means son." I dug into my bag and found a lollipop, I handed it to him, "Every good deed deserves a reward, nothing wrong with it." He smiled brightly, "Thank you miss!!! I'll tell my mom about today and about the great lady I met. Bye" I waved back to him as he ran off. I hope that boy grows up to be good. Now, to finish the business I came for. I walked towards the iron gates, and they opened on their own, I walked inside. As I walked further down, I noticed most of the surrounding was filled with flowers, daisies, roses, so many exotic flowers. Before I knew it, I was at the front door, I knocked twice, and a man, who looked like a butler said, "Welcome madam. The master has been expecting you." I nodded politely and followed him, the hall was very long and not very well lit up. We stopped at a room with a red door, and he opened it. Inside was a room decked with portraits, probably of past heirs, the walls were lined with gold paint, and in the center of the floor, was a gold lion head, two white couches curved to form a circle was around it, I clapped, "Impressive. It should be known as the Room of Memories or Room of Gold." A voice from behind said, "Oh. It's just called the room of portraits. But we use it as a drawing room." I turned to find a boy, or should I say, man behind me, a feet away. He stepped forward and I observed him., he had a broad chest, blond hair, black eyes descending into deep ocean blue, and he was probably six feet tall, and looked a year older to me. He was wearing, a suit, it had two military medals on it, with a black shirt, he wore black pants as well, with black sneakers, but a very distinctive clink-clink could be heard, it was from a silver military tag on his neck, I replied, "Hm, you look relaxed. For a person who's supposed to be the heir of...which family r u from anyway???" he crossed his arms, and smiled, "Fujihara clan." I widened my eyes, "Fujihara?! That's impossible!! That's the most famous clan, how could you be of that family?!" he walked past me and pointed to the gold name plate on the portrait. "See, it's Hiroshi Fujihara." I turned and looked closely at the name plate, "Fine. It's true you are of that clan. Now back to business" I turned in a huff and seated myself on a sofa, he did the same and seated himself right across me. The butler stood by his side. I began the conversation, "Let me introduce myself. I am Ji-Ah. It's a codename, but that's the best I can do, I do not trust you completely." He raised an eyebrow, and he leaned forward, "I took in your wolf for you. I've even taken care of her." He sighed, "Very well, if you insist. I am Kalanjikov, Hiroshi Fujihara's son, currently the heir of the Fujihara clan." I politely nodded, "So. How did the son of the most renowned clan of Japanese history, end up living in a hidden mansion in the most secluded town of Russia? I'm curious." He replied calmly. "My mother is Russian. Her motherland is where she desired for me to be. I have many siblings, who would willingly try to take the role of the family head. And all of whom would have killed your wolf the moment they would've found her. My mother was sickly after she gave birth to me and my sister, in the end, a few days before I could ascend to the position, I am in. My father is still alive, but he has control over only a section of the Japan branch of our family. I am the real head, and I am also the CEO of his business. My other siblings, control various minute businesses in other countries. Staying in Russia, honors my mother's memory, helps me to fulfill her dying wish and to stay alive." I replied, "I understand how you feel. I lost both my parents, but at the time, I was very young. And I also, have many rivals, for the position I wish to ascend to, cousins, uncles, aunts, friends." I stood up, "I wish we could spend more time with our discussion, but I am sure both of us have more important things to attend to. Please take me to see Chika." He stood up as well, and smiled, "Alright, as you wish. But do give me your contact number, I have a feeling that we'll be seeing each other again quite soon." He held out his hand to me, I shook it, and he took the lead. We walked out of the room and walked through the dimly lit hallway. Thanks to my many years of training and living with wolves I was able to see in the dark, "May I ask, but why keep this hallway so dimly lit?" he replied I could only see his shadow, "So that thieves can't find their way anywhere. And also, because this mansion has many dangerous secrets." Dangerous secrets...…I had heard that the Fujihara clan was a mystical clan and also very mysterious, but I from what I heard just now, about his mother. Something sounded very familiar. We walked for what felt like hours, but I had kept checking my watch, it had only been half an hour, "Where is she? I'm getting impatient. She is due to give birth soon, if something happens to her and I or her mate are not present, it could go terribly wrong." I snapped, my patience limit was broken, honestly, people have no understanding of this situation. He replied, "We're here. No need to get upset, your wolf will be fine, I had someone accompany her." He opened a door, which completely blended in with the wall, inside I could see that the room was pink…why of all colors, was it pink? I turned my head to scan the room as I slowly walked in, "Chika, where are you?" a soft bark came from my right, as I swiftly turned, I saw her sitting on a pink lounge chair, with little gold flecks, and she looked fine, her coat was shiny, the fact that it was so white and clean, was making me go nearly blind, unlike how it usually was a dusty wet grey. Next to her sat a girl who was petting her, she had dark blue hair descending into a blond white, it was styled in two long ponytails to the sides and had two black bows on the top, and her eyes were black, scary, she wore a black sweater top with flowers, and a white check skirt with red and black lines, black shoes, a silver necklace hung from her neck, it had a heart pendant on it. That necklace, I've seen that before, why…. why does it look so familiar. She noticed me looking at her, and walked towards me, Kalanjikov stood at my side, now that I looked closely, we were sort of the same height. I was just an inch or two shorter than him, the girl stood in front of us, her face blank, Kalanjikov introduced her, "This is my sister, Yuri." She nodded, "Hi, I'm Yuri Fujihara." I replied, "I'm Ji-Ah nice to meet you." She smiled, "You too, have you come to take Chika?" I smiled, "Yeah, she needs to go home. Though, I've never really understood why she always comes to this town, she never tells me." Yuri guided me to sit down in one of the chairs, "Oh. That's because, she was born here as a pup, and was taken into care by your pack because her mother and father were killed by hunters, specifically speaking, one of my many stepbrothers, Derrick Von Dupont." I was speechless for a few minutes, "You can understand what she says? I've never known anyone other than me and the people I've lived with, to be able to speak with animals. This is amazing!" I exclaimed, she smiled again, "My mother loved animals, and she was part of the people in high places among the animal community."

That sounds familiar... "May I ask who she was?" Yuri's eyes got a little misty, but her voice remained cheerful, "She was known as the...White Angel" That name...…no... it can't possibly be…she couldn't have died…she…she was my last hope…I felt a tear run down my face, Am I crying? Unconsciously, my reached to touch my face and I looked down at it, to find it wet, I am crying. I felt someone kiss my cheek while wiping away my tear, I hugged them, and I cried my eyes out.
