DUSK AND DAWN KINCZKILLERS

In the history of all Vampires, it's been said that they do not walk in broad daylight. How ironic that Vampires nowadays, do walk under the sun.

It hadn't been scientifically proven why they do, but they've all taken it as revolution, evolution.

Maybe the change followed the earth as it rotates.

The Vampires themselves become those who could go out doing the morning and rest at night, unlike before when they rested in the morning and sort out to the world at night. Many or most of the Vampires had taken the lifestyle of the humans and Dusk Kinczkillers wasn't an exception.

Dusk Kinczkillers, sitting on his sofa as he sank his fangs into the neck of one of his drink givers. He sucked out a mouthful of blood and gulped it down his throat before he licked his lips as he savored the sweet taste of blood.

The sweet taste from this drink giver of his had always tasted heavenly. He was one of his favorites.

The drink givers of his weren't forced to offer him their blood, it was willingly and they all had signed an NDA on what they do.

As Dusk savored the sweet taste of blood from this subordinate of his, another one entered and announced the arrival of his daughter.

"Master Kinczkillers, young lady Kinczkillers has arrived," spoke the subordinate with his head bowed.

Dusk scurried the subordinate he had just drank from and was still climbing down from the high gate of tingling sensation away.

He sat well, picked his glasses from the table, and held his phone as he went through some stuff.

Dawn Kinczkillers walked in with her head high, shoulder up, and oozing arrogance. Pretty little, eight years old, Dawn was trying to form intimidating just like her father had thought her.

She usually had this baby side of hers when she was with her father in private.

"Thanks," muttered Dawn to the subordinate of her father when he ushered her in.

"Dawn!" called Dusk when he sighted his daughter

"I'm so so famished, papa," whined Dawn before she took a seat beside her father. The young lady who had entered earlier with a domineering personality had become the baby that she is.

Dusk smiled at her before he pressed the bell that was on the table.

Instantly, one of the servants entered with a glass of blood.

Dawn collected it before she gulped it down her throat in one go.

"I want more," she stated and Dusk shook his head.

"No. Have you forgotten? You are a human and also a Vampire. You live like the two, especially like a human because we are in their world," muttered Dusk as he took the glass with his daughter, and placed it on the table before standing up with her and leading her to the dinner.

Little Dawn had heard him lecture her every day about the life of the Vampire. She preferred the life of the vampire to that of the humans. She could have a tastier meal and savor the taste than that of the humans.

So annoying that this centuries years of age father of hers kept lecturing her.

After dinner, Dawn and Dusk went into their respective rooms to get ready for their one-in-a-while night hunting.

Both of them, father and daughter wore black, black Jeans and a jacket. Dusk walked into the garage and mounted on the motorbike, with Dawn behind him before speeding off.

The Hunt is usually performed by the father and daughter with Lucas, Dusk's friend.

When they got to the meeting place, Lucas had arrived already, and then, they began the hunt.

They captured rogue vampires who were terrorizing humans and other supernatural beings. As they made to leave, they were suddenly surrounded by another set of rogues vampire. It was unexpected as they didn't expect rogues to surround them even after they had killed and captured the ones they saw.

Dawn smirked before she pulled out her stake from her back pocket and attacked.

But before she could, Dusk pulled her backward and attacked the vampires alongside Lucas

"Batches of rogues," uttered Lucas

They aimed for the crucial part of the vampire body system and soon, the rogues drop dead.

"Let's leave," uttered Dusk

"I could have taken them all down," Dawn uttered.

"You couldn't. You might be a trained vampire but, you are a child," said Lucas.

"You will make a fine Vampire when you grow," muttered Dusk as he took her hands

"I agree, you will be a better vampire than we had ever been," mumbled Lucas as he began to imagine how great Dawn would be as she grew older.

Dusk looked up in the sky and spoke in his mind, 'Alaska, your daughter has grown up fine. Even though you didn't want her to live the life of the vamps, I couldn't allow it.'

"Papa, let's go," uttered Dawn.

Vampires were trained since birth, trained to fight, kill and destroy. Back in the days when they were trained to be unforgiving, cruel, and dangerous, they had hunted humans and treated them like food in the most uncultured ways but civilization made them change, Change for the good except for the rogue vampires.

Reaching the house of the Kinczkillers, they all headed into the house to shower, washing away the foul smell of rogues' blood from their bodies. When they were done, they were served a cup of fresh blood before they went to sleep.

Right outside of Kinczkillers home, stood a lone figure staring at the building with a burning gaze, a gaze that was hard to know the kind of emotions that was brewing inside.

The lone figure left after fifteen minutes of staring intensely at the home. Unknown to whosoever the lone figure was, Dusk was staring at him or her also while sipping his glass of red blood with a smirk applied on his face.

He chuckled after seeing whosoever the person was leaving. He wondered how the figure was able to enter the estate and stand right in front of his house in the dark except the person was a resident of the estate.

Lord knows what he had in mind for this fellow if he ever gets his hand on him/her.
