Part 1

As our eyes meet I start to feel butterflies in my stomach, the wolf takes his paw off my chest slowly backing away but never looking away from me.

"LIV!" I hear my mom yell from our house.

I don't respond, I just continued to stare at the wolf in front of me, trying to push away the feelings that flared up.

"Olivia!" My mom yells again.

I break eye contact first and stand up.

"C-Coming!" I yell back.

I start to jog back, I look back and see the wolf is gone.

"What just happened?" I ask myself.

*HOWL*

I stop running and listen to the thundering sound, I feel a pain in my heart start to rise so I start to run faster back to my house.

Lucian POV.

'What was that?'

I sit down and watch her run through the trees, I lift my head up and start to howl.

*Snap* midway through the howl I hear a sound and I abruptly stop.

A disgusting smell meets my nose, before I can even react my wolf takes control and starts chasing after the smell.

I soon catch up and see two humans running in the distance, I guess they noticed me as well because they both skidded to a halt, with me me stopping right behind them.

"What is it." I hear the female asks.

"A giant wolf dumbass." the male responds.

I can see their eyes now and I am sure they aren't humans anymore, a bright red color is what meets my eyes.

A ground-shaking growl starts to leave my chest, as if on cue they both start to run at me, I don't just stand there and wait I start running at them as well.

I go to bite the man first but he slides under me taking my legs out from under me. I quickly stand up shaking myself.

I look at them and see them both laughing.

I run at them both catching them off guard, I get close to enough to the girl and take a chunk of her thigh with me. But when I bit down I was met with a screeching sound.

I look back at them and they both look scared now.

"We need to run, that's no normal wolf." the male says grabbing her hand and starting to run away.

'Not so easy' I say as I start chasing after them.

Their fast but not fast enough I leap forward grabbing onto the girl's foot and yanking her from his grasp.

He slides to a halt, and was about to run toward me but before he could I slammed her to the ground and started tearing her apart, not even stopping at her pleas for help.

The male is still frozen with grief, I lift my head walking slowly towards him with a sinister grin on my face.

I was about to launch at him but he ran away, I decided to leave him I don't know why I just did.

...

The next morning went the same as normal until that sweet smell met my nose again, at first I was going to leave it alone but my chest was telling me to do otherwise.

I soon made my way to the clearing like last night and saw the same girl, but this time she was writing on something.

I slowly make my way in front of her trying not to scare her but unfortunately it didn't work like that.

Olivia pov.

I disregard the fact that I almost died yesterday and make my way to the same tree I was sitting against yesterday, but this time I brought my sketch book, I sit down and start to draw the scenery around me, buy everytime I start to draw the image of that wolf pops into my mind.

*UGH*

"Why can't I stop thinking about him?" as I say this I start to hear something taking deep and heavy breaths in front of me. I slowly raise my head and see the massive black wolf.

I start to get nervous, but he doesn't move and he doesn't have the same scary look as yesterday, instead he has a look of confusion or wonder.

I suddenly remember him howling yesterday, and I had the sudden earge to draw.

"Please don't eat me big guy." I say taking the lid off of my sketch pen and flipping to an empty canvas.

He grumbles in response.

Lucian POV.

"Please don't eat me big guy." I hear her say. Her voice alone made my body start to shiver.

And that's how we spent the next month everyday, for short periods of time because of her mom, but every moment I was with her felt like forever and I didn't want it to change.

But everything must come to an end.

...

Olivia POV.

"Hey fur ball, I think I'm done now." I say putting the cap back on my pen.

I show the drawing to the wolf as I'm laying on his chest.

"You like it?" I ask.

He grunts in response.

"Well I'm just gonna assume you love it." I say chuckling.

I put my stuff down and lay back against his chest.

We have gotten close over the last month, it's weird but I feel there is more than meets the eye with furr ball, but what do I know anyone else who saw me about to fall asleep for the first time on a massive wolf would probably think I was crazy.

'Moms gonna kill me.' I think before my eyes feel to heavy to keep open.

Olivia puts her stuff down and leans into my stomach and gets comfy, after a while she starts to lightly snore.

I lay my head down and start to fall asleep.

And for the first time since I shifted I actually dreamed.
