2 Work! Work! Work!

Xia never imagined working with the infamous Fallen Angel would turn out to be so complicated. It's not that she regrets her job right now, it's her dream job after all but it's just that she never liked the fact that she turns out to be the front page of every gossip column all the time. Xia even has a fan page on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.

Xia recently found out about it and imagine how horrified she was. She was labeled as the Mystery Girl. It took her about an hour to recover and allow the shocking truth to sink in inside her brain. To make things worse Xia was even receiving a mountain of hateful comments and death threats more than the Kardashian sisters. She will not even wonder if one day she will receive a gift box with a bomb inside.

Xia has no other complaints with her work except that her boss constantly turns his table into a big mess like a little boy in a kindergarten class. She wasn't stating that he was 'untidy'. Xia's point is he was not that neat. He usually asks the words:

"Have you seen my blue file, Ana?"

"I can't find the documents Mr. Glenn had sent, could you find it for me?"

"Where's the documents I needed to sign?"

"Where did I put my pen?"

Blah! Blah! Blah! So on and so forth. To give a solution to his everyday dilemma, Xia decided to give his office a total makeover. She was glad to know he did not mind her rearranging his office. It took her three days to finally organize it.

Xia started with arranging his vast collections of books by arranging it according to alphabetical order. It wasn't easy since he got more than 1000 books, the majority of them were collector's items. The fallen Angel must be very fond of books or he simply collects them for display. Xia also segregated all the files she found in his office and sorted them out in a color-coding arrangement. She arranged each and every drawer according to its significance in order not to misplace important and necessary documents by placing the newest at the top and the old ones to the bottom.

The door suddenly opened and speaking of her boss, here he comes looking as devilishly handsome as ever in his formal black suit

"Good morning Hary" Xia greeted him with a smile. She just finished cleaning his office and now she's s almost done tidying his table.

"Good morning." He greeted back, simply nodding his head at her.

"Do you want me to make your coffee now?"

"Yes, please," was his short reply as he sat down on his swivel chair. He sat there stone-faced like Hades, the God of Underworld.

Xia left his office and a few minutes later she returned with his scalding hot coffee. Carefully, she placed it at the top of his table. Every morning when he arrives, it was the first thing he requests so she made it a habit to make him coffee every morning, in the exact time he wanted.

He lifted his coffee and took a sip on it. He then turned to look at Xia with his intimidating hazel brown eyes. Xia wondered if there was something wrong with the coffee. She have no idea what was going on in his mind right as he look at her.

Xia can not take his gaze any longer, she cleared her throat that had gone dry from the heat of his stare. "May I inform you of your schedule for the day Hary?" Xia began to break the awkward silence between them.

"Go on." He said never once breaking eye contact with her. Xia acted unaffected and as she reads his schedule for the day.

"By twelve-thirty you have a lunch meeting with Mr. Emannuel Emir, by one thirty you have a meeting with Mr. James Chu and Lastly your last meeting would be with Ms. Ariadne Desilva at Restauranté Amore."

"I'll be attending all my appointments except the last one." He said nonchalantly to Xia's surprise, taking another sip from his coffee.

"But Hary! Ms. Desilva said it was important."

"I know if it was important or not. I'm the one to decide." He replied, emotionless. "Inform her I wasn't available."

"Okay Hary," Xia said instead before letting go of a deep sigh. "I'll just message her again."

"Good." He said.

"Is that all Hary? Do you have something for me to do?"

"Nothing more."

"Well then, if you need me just press the intercom. I'll be going back to my office." Xia said and went back to her own table where a stack of paper works awaits.

After entering her office Xia immediately message Ms. Desilva. She got no immediate reply. 'Maybe she was busy' Xia thought. She was still wondering why did her boss canceled that meeting.

Xia resumed her work. She comfortably positioned her self in her swivel chair and her fingers began typing. She was sitting on the comfort of her swivel chair for about an hour too engrossed in typing when suddenly the phone rang temporarily diverting her attention away from her work. Startled, she picked it up on the second ring.

"Good morning. Blaze Empire Company. How may I help you?"

"This is Ms. Ariadne Desilva."

"This is his secretary ma'am. How may I help you?" 'I think I'm in trouble'. Xia thought and she swallowed.

"Where is Zach?" Ms. Desilva began asking as if she owns her boss.

"I'm sorry ma'am but he was in a very important meeting right now."

Gosh! I really hate lying. But what, should I do? It's obvious that my boss did not want to have an appointment with her.

"Tell him to call me after his meeting." She said sounding like a nagging wife. Cutting the line with a loud bang against the receiver. That hurt my ears. Very rude and unladylike.

For the second time the phone rang again. The number was unregistered. Xia frowned and gave a huge sign of relief after knowing it was not Ms. Desilva again. But she was hoping also that this was not one of those many prank calls she's receiving.

The drumming sound of her heart started in a sudden for an unidentified reason. Xia laugh at herself for feeling that way like a five-year-old answering a phone for the first time.

"I would like to talk with Hary please!" The woman whispered on the other line. She was sobbing.
