A Corrupted Existence, With Neither Will Nor Soul

"Roxie, transform," Alex ordered, a sense of urgency flashing across his eyes. The Fire Dragon narrowed her eyes before reluctantly agreeing. She morphed into a Fire Dragon, allowing the amethyst-eyed boy to sit atop her scaly back.

The two flew across the skies of Aftermath, healing towards the place where the Corrupted Divinity emerged from. Space itself was distorted after the battle, forcing Roxie to exert more pressure in order to move forward.

The traces of divinity were vivid.

It only served as an example of what Gods were capable of. Stronger Gods were capable of destroying regular worlds with a snap of their fingers. It was in a completely different league than what mortals were capable of.

And here were Alex and Roxie, at the bottom of the barrel, even for mortal standards. They had a long journey before them.
