Chapter 1: The Stormy Night
On a rainy day at Hanmi village a guy runs down the roads to get back home. It is where this boy trips on the muddy road and falls to the ground. Then a lightning bolt strikes next to the boy and another man is walking up to the boy.
"Now now Simon you can't be running forever, you are still in debt no matter how far you run."
The mysterious man looks down at Simon with a smirk. The man's hand charges with electrical sparks.
"Do you expect to be some Guide in this world? You are nothing, you understand Simon? You can never become someone like the man of yellow and red, Zecin, he was one in a trillion."
(A guide is someone who is ranked in the top 10 strongest people in the world. It is not only measured in strength but in leadership, influence, and strategy)
"I'll give you back your money… You already took my family…"
"Your sister would've been a good one to sell ey? Too bad she was so ignorant like your other family members were killed, though we couldn't figure who your father was but it doesn't matter he was never there for you to begin with."
Simon tried to get back up from the muddy road trying to escape. A crow is watching this happen and caws out to these two.
"I swear I will kill you Fredrik…"
"Oh this guy's name is Fredrik? Interesting, well hello there Fredrik what are you doing?"
A new voice could be heard, it sounded like a prideful person but I was unable to make out who it was.
"Yeah that's my name, what does that matter to you?"
Suddenly Fredrik was torn in half where his top half sent flying to the other side of the road as well as his bottom half staying perfectly positioned to where he was. I could not believe what I saw, Fredrik was the strongest person in the village and was taken out so easily? Who was this person?
"You what is your name"
The mysterious person called out to me and all I was able to do was look at them in fear. I mean he just killed someone in front of me. What else could I do? I try to muster up some courage to even speak.
"My name… is Simon…"
I tried my best to even speak. I was surprised that I was even able to say my own name but it came out due to the fear. This guy's presence is crazy, behind this close could kill someone. He is suppressing it, I know he has to be a Fuze at least. Or even someone who is in the 7 families, but his technique doesn't match anything they have.
(Some who is a Fuze is someone that is ranked in the top 1000)
"Simon? Well I need you to come with me, but so you know even if you decline I'm going to force you to come with me."
This was confusing to me, why would he need someone like me? I'm not even powerful, not smart, nor can I even lead. I have no potential to grow, my power is tree manipulation, the weakest power in the world. I was barely able to move a branch last week, why does he need me? I do not want to leave, what if I get killed?
"I… don't-"
Suddenly everything went to black, I could not describe how quick that went. I was in the middle of speaking, I only spoke 2 words then a black void. Am I the one at fault here? Is this because of all the sins I have committed? Well there was no hope for me to begin with.
I slowly wake up in a dark room where I am sitting down and a table in front of me. I look around, then attempt to move and realize I am tied up to a chair. I start to panic and suddenly a door opens where a guy brings in a chair. He places it in front of me as the door slowly closes itself. This man was a guy with longish yellow hair, ruby eyes, he was built really fairly well, in a nice suit and brought a nice presence.
"Your name is Simon, right? What is your full name?"
This voice sounded exactly like the one from last night, could I be mistaken? No I am not, if there is one thing I can trust about myself is my memory but how? Those were two completely different presences. What if they are twins, or copy voices? I know the Inuka Family can cause illusions. But this man for some reason looks familiar, yellow hair with red eyes. A man of the description could only mean this is the one and only ZECIN.
