5 The Last Supper

Hope had walked into the kitchen area seeing many people laughing, and chatting it up. Hope had never seen so many people smiling, as if the world was still alright and not crumbling away. The atmosphere around her, and everyone else, filled her with comfort and love.

She walked around smiling and nodding to people who politely acknowledged her presence. She spotted her father in a corner. Their eyes locked and they rushed to each other hugging for dear life. Her father thought he had lost Hope for good. He cried softly along, with his daughter.

Hope smiled, and eventually the hug ended. She looked up at her father, "I'm so sorry I worried you. I should've been more careful and I-" her father shook her head, "no. You don't apologize for anything alright. None of this is your fault. The demons out their are responsible. We are going to put an end to them. God will come for us all. He's just...I don't know what he's doing but he wouldn't ever leave us stranded. I believe in our father. Just as much as you do Hope."

He smiled. Hope smiled brightly. She was the reason he continued to smile. He was thankful he still had her. Hope was named hope for a reason. Her mother had went under chemo while still pregnant with her. She was a miracle child, "I know dad. I believe that as well. But I feel there's more at play here. I don't think our Father would simply just sit back and watch. He made a promise and he always keeps his promise but maybe there's something more complicated yet simple going on. I fear God is being held down by someone he held close. Someone whom was supposed to be his favorite.." by this point the people around had grown silent. A random person had spoken up, "what're you saying? Are you saying Lucifer tricked god into not caring? I find that to be the stupidest thing I've ever heard." He scoffed. He had seemed to be offended.

Hope cleared her throat turning to the random male, "no Mr. Cornell's you've missed my point, I find it weird don't you think so too? Lucifer is strong yes, but how'd he get so strong as to be able to come up from hell along with his army? I believe god lost faith not all his faith but he's faltered In us a bit. I don't blame him. Mankind is fragile and easily temped by the tempter. There's murder, money, sex, and drugs out there, but most importantly demons. There's different ranks. The most important ranks stay in hell, for the middle and lowest ranks to go up, on earth, and prey upon the weak and fragile. Those who have fallen Ill, and those who blame our heavenly for their results in their trials. They go out and seek revenge for losing loved ones, or they blame God for 'making' them do what they did. But how does Lucifer come into play, you ask? Simple, I believe Lucifer has been feeding on God's disappointment and shame he feels towards his creations. Any type of negative energy fuels Lucifer himself. I've seen it in dreams and visions." Mr. Cornell laughed. He was one of the people who thought Hope was just a mental case, "oh please. You're a lunatic. You don't actually have this kind of gift."

Hope raised a brow. She like probing those wrong, "ahh quite the contrary sir. If I didn't how would I know, just by looking at you, that you're grandmother, Georgia-Anne, appeared in your dreams last night? She came to tell you that she still remembers the time she caught you wearing her auburn colored heels with her favorite pearls when you were seven?" The room grew quite and so did Mr. Cornell.

She looked to Mr. Baldwin, "may I continue father?" Mr. Baldwin chuckled, "yes you may. We all have shared our thoughts and theories please continue." Hope nodded, as a thank you. She continued, "as I was saying, I believe Lucifer has been feeding off god's negative and positive energy. He's got his only father held down. The more he feeds off our Heavenly Father the more he gets weak and is unable to carry out his plans he had, from the beginning. We aren't the only ones in trouble here. Our father needs us as well. He hasn't given up on us. This times, it's our turn to save the world, and God as well." She Finished speaking.

Everyone was quiet. They were either speechless or quietly thinking over her words. Her father spoke up, "it makes sense. I mean think about it, how could Lucifer be the first to get here and take advantage? He knew his only father was strong, and he wasn't as strong to begin with. Lucifer would do any and everything he could to bring down his father, and get revenge." Hope added in, "I'm not saying this is one hundred percent true, but I'm just putting it out there."

The sound of a kitchen stove timer digging brought everyone back to present time, "food's down!" A small child happily exclaimed while giggling. Everyone jokingly cheered and formed a straight line to get food. Hope however took a seat and sat straight as she began to try and formulate a plan, and at least pray her assumption was correct.
