2 Chapter Two

When the shadow stopped so did we. We were so fixated on it that we hadn't even realized it had turned around. Not only that, but we were in a clear field. I took a second to look around to see the extent of the land around me. It was a green, grassy field with flower patches in certain areas. There was also a bridge ring that led to the top of a hill in the center of the field. It was surrounded by the most beautiful lavender colored flowers I had ever seen. When I was actually able to peel my eyes away from the extraordinary sight of this area, I saw the figure, but this time...it was standing right in front of us.

We had quickly realized it wasn't exactly a shadow, it was a creature that had somehow surrounded its body with small, black clouds. It had stretched its arm out of the clouds. Then it put its hand into a position in which the index and middle claw were pointed upwards and the rest folded into its palm. By waving the hand in front of its body, some form of magic, I think, cleared the clouds to reveal itself. It was so many things at once. It was floating, no it was hovering, with a pair of small, feathered wings. Its body was rounded and covered with very fluffy-looking fur. It had a large bird skull with horns for a head and a detached neck, that was also a skeleton. And it had reptile-like arms, and three tails, each one different from the others. One was a skeleton with a translucent outer layer in the shape of a tail. The second was much like a scorpion tail. And the last looked like it was made of liquid and dripped every few seconds or so. I was so confused on what exactly it was. It could be a species on it's own!
