Inside Maya's room, Lily sat on the bed while Maya started removing her clothes, which were lying everywhere in the room.

"So sorry, I didn't know I'd be having a visitor soon," Maya apologized.

Lily waved her hands. "No, no. I'm the one barging in."

Maya paused to look at her. "No, you're not. I mean, I'm supposed to be living like a human. That's why my brother always wants to pull my ear," she chuckled.

"You have a brother?" Lily asked. Maya nodded. "That's nice. I haven't seen mine."

Maya raised her brows, surprised. She didn't know Augustine had another child. "You also have a brother?"

Lily nodded. "Yes, but he doesn't come around often, so most people aren't aware."

Maya hummed. "Oh, that's the reason." She thought of telling Lily that Victor was also her brother, but that would be too much. She decided to let it be. "Brothers can be like that, but they're lovable beings."
