5 HOHB - the capabilities of aura yex...

Chapter #5

(note - when yex, is being used you can refer to it as your "authority")

*the next morning…*

"Good morrows! young tutees, I apologize for this abrupt change in your regiment. I am Instructor Yates! In accordance with the Dean's instructions, I shall be your instructor!" Instructor Yates announces with intensity.

"Now before we undertake today's grueling tasks, I shall introduce myself! I know you lots hate long speeches so I'll make it short. Firstly I'll start with the basics. My name is Vinny Yates, I will be your teacher for the next two months, teaching you all three classifications of yex.

"I will observe your performances and grade you all orderly and equitably. With this in mind, out of the thirty-eight students present in this quarter, only six students will be selected for the Orofell Tournament." Instructor Yates sternly utters with authority.

"Okey Dokie! Now that the godforsaken dull formalities are out of the way. Let me talk about myself! Well, for starters, I have a puppy named "Soto." He's unreasonably adorable, oh how I miss his pleasant mellow coated fur. Furthermore, I was born under a full moon in April. I like sweets but hate chocolates, they make my tongue sweaty. Oh and...

<Instructor Yates is unlike any teacher I've had before. His energetic and dauntless personality is a trait I've never seen from a teacher. Along with his odd personality, he has a striking appearance. His polished sky-blue eyes and dark sable hair followed by a serrated jawline. Along with his burly and muscular build, presumed from rigid and strenuous training. Made him quite the knockout.>

"Ultimately, I hate soft boiled eggs and much preferably enjoy hard-boiled eggs with a faint slip of salt." Instructor Yates concludes.

"Now with my introductions at their conclusion, shall we begin class ladies and gentlemen? Welcome to your own personal hell. And you know what they say, whatever doesn't kill you, hurts like hell." Instructor Yates erupts into laughter.

"All righty folks jokes aside, for the next two weeks we will be exclusively practicing on a singular classification of yex, 'aura yex.' Keep in mind that it's impossible to master a class of yex in just a mere two weeks. We will solely be working to further advance your yex."

"First and foremost, I will show you an example of the authority and mastership of 'aura yex'. Before I begin listen carefully, brace yourself." Instructor Yates informs the students as the space flatters soundless.

*ZAP!*

<a rushed eruption of yex, washed exhaustively throughout the air. A view of absolute calamity dawned atop my eyes. As my surroundings enclosed, I found myself isolated.>

<A sense of solace consumed me with ease. Short-lived and intent of destructive fury engulfed me. As I observed unwillingly, my gaze glanced at an unmitigated force of intensity, instantly dropping me to my knees.>

<Pain rushes through my veins, despite this uncomfortable sensation, I found myself grinning inexorably in awe.>

"Listen! Relax your breathing and gather your yex to calm down your senses. I apologize for my miscalculation. I originally intended to use a fraction of my authority. But went overboard and used a quarter of it. I deeply apologize for my error." Instructor Yates apologizes earnestly.

"Eh... what! That was only a quarter of your authority!" students simultaneously blurt out.

"Yes, if I would use even a half of my 'aura yex' you would all die instantaneously. As you can see this is only a portion of the mastership that 'aura yex' can radiate. Besides that, I see that some of you can withstand my authority to an extent. I am extremely impressed" Instructor Yates glimpses at his tablet.

"Kain Godwin and Prish Fae. I am seriously impressed by your control of your internal yex to be able to withstand my authority, is simply incredible. I expect great things from the two of you." Instructor Yates announces with anticipation.

"Thank you, Instructor Yates." The pair simultaneously responds.

"Because of my fallacies today I will be ending class early. Class will resume tomorrow morning. Make sure to practice your basics before class tomorrow. Instructor Yates announces as students withdraw.

"..."

"Dean, they have already left what is so important for the likes of you to be here. Sir." Yates coldly glances over his shoulder.

"Oho! Yates, you seem rather agitated today. I hope you aren't treating me with hostility right from the geck-go, that would shatter my heart. And you know I hate when my mood gets ruined, especially by the likes of you." A shadow emerges from the dark.

"Of course not sir, I wouldn't dare to. So what brings you to my classroom?" Yates responds in a fraudulent tone.

"Well of course I have to check up on my students, especially my favorite class of students. So how are my beloved students performing today?" The Dean grins in curiosity.

"There are many promising students with tremendous potential, particularly Kain Godwin and Prish Fae, who were able to resist a quarter of my authority." Yates responses.

"Spectacular! Being able to withstand your authority is simply too stimulating to hear. I'll make sure to keep an eye on those two." The Dean expresses a sizable smile.

"Besides that, there was one student, who piqued my interest, even though he didn't stand a chance at resisting my authority. He also didn't even try to defend himself. He rather took the full force of the attack head-on instead. Furthermore, nearing the end of it all, he seemed to be grinning with a sense of amusement even though he was in severe pain and had undergone intense exhaustion. He still kept on smiling till the end." Yates mentions in concern.

"Oh my, who might this unnamed student be?" The Dean responds in curiosity.

"His name is, Damien Whitecastle. He has moderate grades and his physical performance from the past year was below average. Yates replies.

"Damien Whitecastle, hmm, the son of the famous professor. It seems you have quite the odd-ball there, Professor Nolan Whitecastle." The Dean mumbles to himself.

"Well, I shall be off then, thank you for this exciting news. Yates, I shall take it to heart." The Dean emerges back into the shadows.

"What a crazy bastard that man is." Yates introspects as he closes the glass doors.
