"Thank you!. I will wash it and return it to you." Jia Li said as she accepted the handkerchief.

"No need." Fu Hua replied before looking away.

Jia Li didn't know why, but she had a thinking that Fu Hua didn't want to associate with her.

As she brought the handkerchief close to her face to wipe the sweat, she perceived his scent on the handkerchief, and suddenly felt happy.

She wiped her sweat with it, before putting it away in her pocket. And just then, YingPei arrived, and they went into Old Mr. Fu's hospital room. And there, they met Mrs. Qin.

"Mom, when did you come?." Jia Li asked as she went to her mother's side.

Grandfather Fu had just finished eating and Mrs. Qin was putting his plates aside.

"Not long ago. Mr. Fu said you went out to eat." Mrs. Qin said as she glanced at the two handsome Fu brothers, who politely bowed to her in greeting.

She nodded back at them before continuing her speech. "Since you have eaten already, looks like I have to keep the food for myself."

Jia Li had a frown on her face. Then she glanced at the Fu brothers before glancing at the flask of food her mother brought for her.

She knows her mother was taunting her because she knew she wouldn't eat well outside since she wasn't used to it.

But she was worried the Fu brothers wouldn't look good if she accepted the food from her mother, it would look as if they starved her when they took her out to eat, and that wouldn't look good on the old Man as well.

So now, she had to struggle between choosing her stomach over other people's consideration. After struggling for a while, she chose the latter.

"Mum, you can keep the food for yourself, I have eaten." Jia Li said to her mother.

Although Mrs. Qin wasn't expecting that reply, she didn't continue taunting her because of the food.

She took the plates and stepped out from the room, and Jia Li followed after her.

"Grandfather, I will be back." Jia Li said to Grandfather Fu, and he nodded in response with a smile on his aged face

Outside the room, Mrs. Qin paused in her steps to say to her, "Your father came over to deliver the food. He wanted to see you, but you were not here."

"Oh! Then I have to go back home today." Jia Li replied.

"Yes, you have to go back home and help your father out with the dinner today. I will be walking shifts today, so I can't go home. Mr. Fu's grandsons are here to look after him. The hospital food is not so good, so you need to cook dinner and bring it to the hospital for Mr. Fu." Mrs. Qin said to her with worry on her face.

"Alright, mum. I will just chat with Grandfather Fu for a short while before going home to prepare dinner." Jia Li assured her with a smile.

"Alright, go back inside." Mrs. Qin said to her before leaving.

Jia Li stood there and watched her mother leave, before turning back to go inside the room.

Grandfather Fu was chatting with his grandsons when she entered the room.

"Girl, did you eat to your satisfaction?." Grandfather Fu asked immediately she walked inside the room. He abandoned his grandsons he was earlier engaged in a conversation with.

"Yes, Grandfather." Jia Li lied with a smile on her face.

"Don't lie to me. Your mother said you were not used to eating outside, so I guess you were not comfortable with the food out there." Grandfather Fu said as he gazed at her.

Jia Ki smiled sheepishly for being caught.

"I am sorry grandfather." She apologized to the old man.

"It's okay. I know you lied so I wouldn't have to worry about you." Grandfather Fu said after he heaved a sigh.

"But don't worry grandfather, I will go back home to make a sumptuous dinner for all of us." Jia Li said suddenly with a cheerful smile on her face.

"That's good... That's good. This Old man here will like to eat the food prepared by you." Grandfather Fu replied cheerfully, with a different mindset.

Jia Li didn't know the Old man was observing her as a potential Granddaughter-in-law.

"Miss Jia Li, you can cook? I will also like to try your food." YingPei said with a cheerful smile on his face.

Jia Li nodded with a smile on his face. As for Fu Hua, he was unamused.

While chatting with the Old Man, Jia Li started to sweat again, so she took out the handkerchief Fu Hua gave to her, to wipe her sweat.

Grandfather Fu saw the handkerchief and recognized it as Fu Hua's, but he didn't say anything.

"Alright Grandfather, I'm going home to prepare food, I will be back soon." Jia Li said to the Old Man cheerfully before turning to walk out of the door.

When she left, the room returned to being silent.

"Grandfather, I have spoken with your doctor, he said you can be discharged within the next 48 hours." Fu Hua revealed.

"What 48 hours? Go and call the doctor. There is no need to call him. Tell him I'm leaving the hospital tomorrow evening." Grandfather Fu declared.

"What if everything is not alright, and you leave before the time to keep you under watch?." Fu Hua asked.

"I will be living with the Ahn's. The doctor can easily come for a check-up in their house. I'm tired of staying in this environment, I need a new and lively place to stay. If I remain here, I will get depressed." Grandfather Fu said.

Fu Hua and YingPei exchanged glances, but none of them said a word. Whatever they will say now, will be to annoy the old man. But the old man had already made up his mind, so he won't easily change it.
