5 Chapter 5: Uzumaki Clan
"We have enemies" Tanaka said as his eyes gazed at the horizon.
The other Uzumaki members also became alert and looked around their surroundings but their sensor didnt find anyone.
They then turned their heads towards Tanaka not knowing if he was messing with them, but looking at his expression, they know he was serious.
"Go back for now, they are not easy ones" Tanaka said, from what he found out, these people are Elite Jonin level and there were 20 of them, and there was also 3 Kage level ones, The Uzumaki Clan members wont stand a chance.
Such a great force would almost be enough to strike fear to many hidden village if was placed in Hidden Village era, but it seems like in this chaotic era where powerful shinobi's are constantly created, it was uncommon.
Tanaka was able to sense them with his Observation Haki, and immediately react even though they are far away from them.
The Uzumaki clan members hesitated ro leave Tanaka alone but he assured them with a nod and a gentle smile.
They then followed his command and retreated.
"We will ask for reinforcement!" Shin said as he left.
Tanaka didnt mind, he flicked his wrist and then a naginata appeared on his hand, the spear was colored in deep black with golden dragons wrapping around its pole, then at the blade of the naginata was a red colored blade with some words written on it.
This was the weapon Tanaka liked the most, well, mostly, he uses it because when Shirohige used it, and he looks so cool.
Tanaka waited for them to come and in just a few seconds, the visitors arrived in front of him.
"Its fancy meeting you here Ryuo" One of the Kage level said.
"Fancy meeting huh? You just got your ass kicked by me a month ago" Tanaka joked.
"Haha, I underestimated you last time but this time, I, A, will take back my lost reputation, here I go Ryuo!" A smiled and charged after Tanaka.
His fist was coated with lightning, he then aimed his punch on Tanaka's face.
Tanaka didnt panic and calmly raised his naginata to block the punch.
*Boom!
The ground beneath Tanaka exploded creating a huge crater, but to A's surprise, Tanaka didnt flinch.
A clicked his tongue and spun his body to sent a kick but Tanaka didnt let him and sent a punch while A was still on his motion of spinning.
*Bam!
Another figure appeared in front of Tanaka and blocked his punch, but the man groaned as he slid back from the force of the punch.
The other shinobi's around also started to move and attack Tanaka, they simultaneously moved together and attacked Tanaka from all sides.
Tanaka raised his naginata and swung it with a strong force.
*Boom!
*Swoosh!
From Tanaka's attack, a small tornado formed blocking all of the attacks, Tanaka then slammed the butt of his naginata to the ground.
*Boom!
The slammed was so strong, so strong that an earthquake happened and everyone almost lost their balance.
A didnt stay at his position and immediately regained his balance and charged after Tanaka.
*Bam!
Tanaka raised his arm and blocked the attack.
*Bam! *Bam! *Bam!
Both of them exchanged powerful attacks resulting to powerful shockwaves that almost blew the others away.
After that A broke away from Tanaka and distanced himself.
A's body was full of bruises and he was also panting heavily, while nothing seemed to happen to Tanaka, he was breathing completely fine and there is no bruises or injuries that could be seen on his body.
"You are really such a monster Ryuo" A commented.
Thanks for the compliment" Tanaka replied with a smile.
*Swoosh!
A figure dashed behind Tanaka and sent a punch, Tanaka calmly titled his body and then extended his hand and grabbed the wrist of the sneaky guy.
Tanaka then twisted the guy and slammed him to the ground.
*Boom!
"Well, then, How about we get serious?" Tanaka said with a smile.
"Then that is enough, Lightning Straight!"
A dashed towards Tanaka at a very fast speed and punched him.
*Boom!
Tanaka countered back by slamming the butt of his Naginata to A's gut, he then swiftly turned his body blocking the attacks of two other Kage level shinobi's.
Tanaka then spun around and swung his naginata towards the two.
*Screeech!
The sound of the air being ripped resounded on their ears and the next moment they knew.
*Boom!
The ground beneath them exploded, a blade mark appeared on the ground, Tanaka was not done yet, he let go of his naginata and did some hand signs.
"Shock"
Tanaka said then he punched the air in front of him.
*Crack!
A crack appeared on the spac in front of him, continuously expanding until the space broke.
*Boom!
A and his group were sent flying away crashing into a mountain not too far away from them.
*Gasp!
Tanaka gasp for air as he finished using the skill, it was very heavy burden on his body, he just wanted to copy the skills of Whitebeard using Shock release but making shock travel through space is something hard to do.
Tanaka sat on the ground breathing heavily.
"I wont use this technique for now, it drains me" Tanaka commented.
"Tanaka-san!" Tanaka heard voices coming from afar, after defeating the group of A's he had lowered his guard so he didnt notice.
'I need to be careful next time' he thought.
It didnt take long for the Uzumaki Clan reinforcement reach him, with Ashina leading the group.
"Where are they?" Ashina asked as he warily look around, had felt the the battle happening earlier, and now as he look around from the results of the battle.
The whole place was devastated, he also noticed huge trail of destruction that extended towards the mountain, just looking at this place, anyone could tell a fierce battle happened in this place.
"Go check that place out" Ashina commanded.
"Yes!" The Uzumaki members then followed the trail.
"How are you Tanaka?" Ashina asked.
"Im fine, I just exhausted myself" Tanaka replied.
"That is good" Ashina nodded.
"Ashina-sama, we didnt see anyone" one of the members reported.
"Let's go back, support Tanaka" Ashina said.
"No, Im fine" Tanaka stood up like nothing just happened.
"T-thats good, lets go then" Ashina said.
Everyone then returned back into the Uzumaki Village and it didnt take long for them to be back.
As Tanaka arrived at the village the young children of Uzumaki clan immediately ran towards him.
"Tanaka Nii-chan, are you okay?"
"Tanaka Onii-chan, I was scared from the earthquake!"
"Aniki! How are you doing?"
The children bombarded him with questions, Tanaka patted them on the head assuring everything was fine.
Through the days Tanaka had been with the Uzumaki Clan, the children treated him as their big brother and become very close to him.
It could be said Tanaka was as popular as Barney to the children, Ashina was also happy to see the children of Uzumaki clan being very lively, unlike in the past where they always seemed scare from the war going on, he then turned to Tanaka.
"Tanaka, I would like to talk to you" Ashina said.
"Okay" Tanaka nodded, "Im gonna go now, See you later" Tanaka said goodbye to the children.
"Awww!"
"Bye Nii-chan!"
"See you later!"
Tanaka then followed after Ashina and they entered the mansion of the clan leader, they both sat facing each other.
"So what do you want to talk about?" Tanaka asked.
"Let us wait for the others" Ashina said.
"Okay" Tanaka nodded and waited.
Half an hour later, Tanaka was surprised to see, All of the Uzumaki Clan members seemed to have gathered.
Tanaka then turned his head to Ashina asking for an answer.
Ashina didnt mind him, he took a deep breath and stared at Tanaka, he then stood up"I have decided, I, as the Clan Leader of The Uzumaki Clan had decided for the better life of my clan here, Uzumaki Village will join the Ryukagure Village, swearing our loyalty to its rightful leader, Tanaka Ryuuji!" Ashina announced loudly and kneeled to Tanaka.
The Uzumaki Members also kneeled to him, Tanaka froze, still not believing what he had heard, his heart was beating rapidly.
He then stood up, his hands shaking, "I accept, I accept!, I, Tanaka! proudly accepts you all to my village and swears to give your clan a good life" Tanaka repeated his first answer two times, it shows how happy and shocked he was.
He then made Ashina stand up and give him a big hug, "You wont regret this" Tanaka said.
"I trust you" Ashina said as he hugged Tanaka back like a proud father.
"Let everybody prepare, we will go to Ryugakure village soon" Tanaka said.
"Dont be excited Tanaka, you were the one who said the journey took you 4 months to reach this place" Ashina chuckled.
"No, that was when I was messing around, it would only take a few seconds to go to Ryugakure" Tanaka said.
"How?" Ashina asked.
"Ninjutsu, now, now, let everyone get ready, everything had been long ready in my village" Tanaka said with a smile, he could just not wait.
