After Hatsumi had calmed down, she and Mimi decided to walk together as they headed home. The two of them walked side by side along the trail lit by street lights. Hatsumi had her head facing down.

"I'll have to properly apologize to Kiba-kun tomorrow for lying and using him… Do you think he'll be able to forgive me, Furui-san?"

Hatsumi further lowered her head and then looked beside her toward Mimi.

"That guy probably enjoyed it more than you would think, Osage-san. In fact, I believe that if you do apologize, it would only go into his head. So, I think there is no urgent need for you to apologize to him."

Mimi answered while just staring ahead of her and without looking back at Hatsumi.

"Are you two… fighting or something?"

"No… nothing of that sort. It is just he… infuriates me… for some reason. Anyway, it's nothing you should concern yourself about, Osage-san."

Mimi finally looked at Hatsumi and offered a gentle smile.
