"I just need to pretend to take advantage of you," She confirmed. "And you will act as though I have you wrapped around my little finger. Right?"

"Yes." He slowly let out a breath in relief when he realized she was going to agree.

"I can do that for you."

"And?" He gently asked for what she would like in return.

She met his gaze with her own uncertain one. She didn't need anything from him, and she didn't want to make their marriage a series of deals. She didn't have feelings for him but it felt odd. Yet, she knew that if she were to help him just because she was his wife, he might take advantage of her. There was no telling with a man as sinister as him.

She was still deep in thought when his lips landed on hers. Her eyes widened. "What was that for?"

"If you look at me like that, you run the risk of getting kissed." He pecked her lips yet again.
