A week passed in the blink of an eye. During this time, Brian had not restricted Helen Blair's freedom, allowing her to move around the island as she pleased. He would spend a few hours with her every day, taking her around to enjoy the scenery.
The island was not small and had picturesque landscapes. However, Helen had no mood to appreciate the scenery; she was secretly surveying the terrain as they explored the island.
Brian was right; this was an isolated island with no telephones, computers, or even mobile phones on anyone. The electricity on the island was generated locally, and there was a small freshwater pond on the island. In addition, there were two helicopters.
When Helen saw the two helicopters, her eyes lit up. Brian noticed and laughed, saying, "The keys to the helicopters are with me, Helen. Don't waste your time thinking about useless things. I won't let you leave."
