Helen Blair walked into the office of the Academic Affairs Department, and at a glance, she saw a tall, stout man standing in the center of the room. A short-haired woman in her thirties was wiping her tears next to him, and several burly men were standing behind him. Facing them were a few middle-aged women who resembled teachers, and Reuben Carter stood in the corner with his head held high, looking arrogant and fearless.
It was this attitude that made the parents of the other party even angrier and more unforgiving.
When those people heard a noise, they looked towards Helen Blair's side. The teachers rushed to Helen Blair as if she was their savior, and seemed to be relieved.
"Miss Blair, it's good that you're here!"
