Carter's Study

Sebastian Carter sits sternly behind his desk, a look of fiery rage on his face, while Anthony Reed stands opposite him, his countenance calm. Ruby Carter, visibly anxious, and Jane Howard, who watched the scene with an entertained expression, leant casually on a sofa behind them.

The study was eerily silent, each moment heavy with tension. It was the brooding calm before the storm, filling the room with an oppressive atmosphere.

Sebastian raises his head. His grim eyes sweep over the two people in front of him. While Anthony shows no sign of distress, Ruby becomes pale with a tremor shaking her uncontrollable body.

Suddenly, Sebastian slams his hand down onto the desk. The forceful noise startles Ruby, causing her to step back. Anthony, however, remains unperturbed.
