Helen Blair nodded and said to her, "I know, it's not your fault. Some people just ignore the rules! You can leave now."
The secretary left the office and closed the door.
Helen Blair put down her work, leaned back in her chair, and looked up at Ruby Carter, coldly saying, "Speak, what's the matter? I'm very busy, don't waste my time!"
Since entering, Ruby had been sizing up Helen Blair's office. She saw that Helen's office was luxuriously decorated and only slightly smaller than the Chairman's Office. An entire wall was made of floor-to-ceiling glass windows, offering a panoramic view of half of Bayspring. It was undoubtedly a symbol of status.
Ruby looked at Helen calmly sitting behind her large office desk, a superior expression on her face, and her heart was filled with jealousy.
She stormed to Helen's desk, slamming the transfer order on it, and exclaimed angrily, "This must be your doing! On what grounds are you driving me away?"
