"I don't know if you are stupid or brave. But I will take it that you are stupid" Lya said as she arrived in front of Lucien as she slowly descended.

"But by the look in your eyes, I would say stupid because I can tell that you are about to do just that".

Lucien heard her words and calmed his heartbeat as they slowly receded to normal.

Then, Lucien watched as she turned back, heading towards her previous position, but this time she stood on the ground standing beside the little girl.

Lya's mouth moved as though she was trying to say something, but strangely enough, no sound came out as she spoke.

Lucien felt his frown deepen deeper as he took notice of Lya's actions.

It wouldn't be a surprise to say that Lucien knew what she was currently doing at the moment, and from the invisible force he felt banging against his brian, Lucien was helpless as he tried his best to stand amidst the pain.
