Instantly, the muzzle shone brightly before it dissipated as a burst of air shot out of it.

The burst of air soon dissipated, disappearing into the atmosphere.

Both Cason and Guyon halted their steps as they felt that something was amiss.

They didn't know what happen to the burst of air that Lucien had just shot, but whatever it was, they didn't like it.

Whatever Lucien had done was a mystery to them. And if their instinct wasn't on a high-time alert telling them to stay away from the pistol in Lucien's hand, then they could have taken his actions as some kind of magic trick.

But that wasn't just any kind of magic trick. It was dangerous, and one thing that made it more dangerous was that they didn't understand what it did at all.

"What? Are you having cold feet?" Lucien said with a smile as he looked at the werewolves.

"Grrr…. I thought that something was about to happen, but it seems that whatever I had expected seems to be beyond your capacity" Cason replied.
