Jiang Xi's Problem

Jiang Tian opened the door of his father's study, and when he entered what welcomed him was the books that was scattered all over the floor and the papers that was flying up in the air, and in the center of all these mess he saw a middle-age man that was walking side to side as if he was waiting for someone.

"Father I am here now, so please stop being so restless." Jiang Tian said with a smile on his face, he knew how much his father loved to spoil all his desire and how protective his father could get and all these traits that his father have made his life much easier, despite his personal strength was not that strong in the past.

Middle age man looked at him, and when Jiang Tian was seen by that middle-age man the face that looked as if it was carrying the sky behind his back made a sudden a one hundred and eighty degree spin.

"Tian'er you are home, what have you been doing yesterday why didn't you return home last night? Was Jiang Yi telling the truth when he said that you were wounded? Come on tell your father, I will make the bastard that hurt my child pay with one hundred times more than what he did, or I, Jiang Xi is not a man." Jiang Xi was happy shouting on top of his lungs.

Seeing his Father act these way for him made Jiang Tian feel the warmth that was in his heart, he had been raised by his Father since his Mother pass away when he was two years old.

"Come one Father I wasn't attack by anybody I just met some mishap with some wolf in the woods, it was nothing." Jiang Tian tried to pacify the anger that was inside his Father's heart, and knowing that if he really did say that he was attack by someone else in the woods there was a high chance that his Father would march on the front door of whoever attacked him.

Hearing the explanation that Jiang Tian had given him Jiang Xi calmed down "Then what about the man who saved you? Jiang Yi said that someone saved you, and my Jiang Clan is not someone that do not know how to show its appreciation."

"About that Father, the man who saved me was actually in a hurry so he had to leave after he made sure that I was able to go back. And because of that I just gave him fifty Mortal Crystal to compensate his troubles."

"Is that so, that is too bad then I would've wish to exchange some drinks with him, but if he is in a hurry to leave then I will not stop him." Jiang Xi was planning of giving the person who save his son a hundred Mortal Crystal, but if he had already left he couldn't do anything about it then.

Jiang Tian suddenly gave a small coughed in an attempt to get his Fathers attention and when he did he said "Father, um it is hard for me to say this when I just got back but, can I get some money from you? I have given everything that I have to Mr. Mu who saved me so, I am currently out of money."

A bag of Mortal Crystal suddenly appeared on top of the table with a wave of Jiang Xi's hand "What am I going to do with you Tian'er? Here are one hundred Mortal Crystal take it as your allowance this month alright? Don't waste it like you always do, I won't be able to give you anymore this month, unless we resolve the problem regarding the sales of our pills."

Jiang Tian casually took the bag of Mortal Crystal at the table as he listened to what his Father were saying.

"Our family is dependent on selling pills and various kinds of medicine, these things are also the foundation of our family if we are to lose them because of the problems that's arising these last two weeks then we just might very well be in danger."

"Problems? What kind of problems are we having? From what I can see the current sales of the Mortal Restoration pill and the Heart Calming Powder are stable and there are no problems regarding our supplies of spiritual plants, right?" Jiang Tian asked as he looked deeper in their family situation.

Jiang Xi was surprise to hear Jiang Tian asked about this things, he was just ranting earlier and didn't have any intention of saying all those things to arouse Jiang Tian into doing anything about the problem. Also, Jiang Tian had never shown any interest in these kind of things, usually Jiang Xi would find his son thinking about something that was unknown to him.

But seeing that his son was actually interested in the problem of their clan made him deeply appreciate the thoughtfulness of his child.

"Don't worry about it Tian'er, it is just that there have been cases of attacks on our people when they are about to head out, and because of this the workers that our family are feeling uneasy and although there are still no deaths that occurred it still cause the others fear for their own safety. So if this continue the workers just might leave hindering our production and sales in the future."

Jiang Tian listened to what his father have been saying and the more he listened the more he understood the situation, and thinking about how he was suddenly ambushed made him think that the two events were not separated.

And upon thinking this far he said "Father, what do you think of the actions that the Meng Clan this past few days?"

"Now that you said it they are suspiciously quiet, in the past they would without a doubt gloat at as for our misfortune, but strangely enough these guys have been quiet. Tian'er what do you think about this?" Jiang Xi was put into a deep thought when he heard his son mention the Meng Clan, and upon thinking about it he was also able to think of various events that can be link to the Meng Clan.

"I don't exactly know what they are doing, but if I have to guess the attacks that's happening right now is not the end and this is only the first phase of their plans. The most likely thing is that the Meng Clan is planning to attack our people and when words get out they would also attack our customer, and if these happens our business would truly be endangered." Jiang Tian said with a serious look.

Jiang Xi was shock to hear his son piece together everything like that. He also had a thought in his head but not as deep as Jiang Tian but when he also think about it what his son told him was the most probable.

The Meng Clan was also Clan that specializes in making and selling various types of medicine, the medicines that they were selling also have about the same was the same as the Jiang Clan's making the competition among the two Clans all the more heated.

Jiang Xi was amaze by his son, this was the first time he saw his son talking business this serious, and he didn't have any idea that his son was this adept in this kind of things. And Jiang Xi being the spoiler that he is was happy to see that his son was actually good at something, in his mind the only thing that's missing was the determination that Jiang Tian had for the Martial Dao.

"So what do you think we should do Tian'er? I would love to hear what you think about this."

Jiang Tian didn't answer right away as he tries to think how he will go about it, then while he was thinking on how he should go about it he heard the system go off again.

Ding Ding

"Host have triggered a mission, host is tasked to track the people who are attacking your own people and kill them. The reward for this mission is ten thousand experience points. This mission is not mandatory and could be declined by the host if he wants to, but be warn that once the host decline he would not be able to do accept this mission in the future.

"And if the host is able to kill the perpetrator the system is not liable to give host the corresponding experience points that was on the mission."

The system voice announced the mission to Jiang Tian like always, this time the mission was not mandatory and seems like he was able to decline it, but he was not planning to decline it as he was currently hungry for experience.

Jiang Tian was actually about to go out when night came to kill the people who are attacking his own people, he was looking for experience points in order for him to reach level fifty faster. He couldn't very well be going out at night and killing innocent people after all so he thought that killing the people attacking them was more appropriate.

Jiang Tian stood up without any warning and said to Jiang Xi "Father don't worry about the case of the people attacking our workers I have a plan for it."

"Ho, plan you say, then let me hear this magnificent plan of yours will you?" Jiang Xi was intrigue top what his son had cooked up to make the situation better.

"Father, do you have the guards constantly monitoring the area of our store?"

"Yes, I am making them look out for the people that is attacking the workers and to apprehend them if possible."

"Okay, then hear is my plan order the guards to go home and leave some elite guards in this position, and if all goes according to plan the people attacking our own will be dealt with." Jiang Tian handed out a piece of paper that he was writing on and passed it to his father.

Jiang Xi took the piece of paper from his son and after seeing he gave a look at Jiang Tian and said "Tian'er, do you think that this will really work?"

"Believe me Father, I may not be good at cultivating but I am still good at planning this simple things. I believe that father will do it tonight, if you do it tonight the amount of people that is being attack will decreased. But there's a chance that the people that is attacking us are strong and if that is the case we would be left to deal with an increase of attacks."

Jiang Xi looked at Jiang Tian's confident and honest face before taking a look at the piece of paper that was on his hand one more time, he was thinking of what he should do the people that was attacking them were a problem for his Clan and the people under him.

And in his hands there was a piece of paper that could possibly solve his problems, but there were also a chance that it will lead to an increase of his problem.

Jiang Tian saw his Father was having a hard time deciding whether he should accept his proposition or decline the plan of Jiang Tian, which he totally understand.

"Father you don't have to do it if you don't want to, but I must remind you that the more we wait there would be people that will be attack. Besides there's a high chance that the people that's attacking us is not that strong."

Jiang XI gave a sighed when he heard his son and upon thinking about it some more he said "I wish your right about this Tian'er, I will make the guards be posted in the area that you listed here I will ask Jiang Yi to lead them."

Jiang smiled at his Father "Alright Father that is it, I will be going to bed early so please don't let anyone disturb me, and as for the plan don't worry about it that much we only need to wait for it to have an effect."

With that said Jiang Tian got out of his Father's study and went back to his room to 'sleep'. Jiang Xi was left there with the paper that he got from Jiang Tian. After a moment he called out to one of the servants and gave the orders.

"Pass my message to the Jiang Yi, tell him that I need to see him right now to talk about the recent activities."
