1 Chapter 1: Who? What? Where? Why?

Hello there! I am the God of this world and though my name isn't important for the sake of convenience you can call me Taono. Well since we don't have much time ill be very brief, I'm sorry to be the one to tell you this but you have died, not that its important but it was a very painful death by the way. However, before your soul was gone i brought you to my world! Why me, you ask? honestly it could have been anybody, so just take it as you won the lottery! Now one of the questions you are wondering is probably why i brought you here right? Well when gods make a new world the excess of their power taints the land and that land will spawn evil that will try and devour the world back into nothingness, since it was our power itself that tainted the land in the first place if we interfere it will get worse, therefore we can only hope the living beings we created are able to destroy the evil and cleanse the land. Unfortunately only very lucky races are able to advance fast enough to overwhelm the evil. We gods then thought it over and created a way to speed up the process with as little interference as possible, we decided on a system. The Heavenly Market System!!! This system is a platform which connects you to other people who have the same system. Why you ask? well you see with the system you can sell anything you own to the heavenly market for heavenly coins. With these coins you can buy things other people put up for sale from those other worlds. Since all we did was give you all the platform and the people themselves trading then our interference is minimal. We aren't going to ask you to be a hero and fight the evil so you don't have to worry. You only have to live however you want because with the heavenly market what ever you buy will eventually spread and the people will advance forward one more step. After Lucca finished reading he stared at the screen floating in front of him speechless. Only after a few minutes was his brain able to finish processing all the information he had just read.

The last thing he remembers was him running after a ball that one of his friends had kicked too far however, the 25 year old him had forgot to look both ways as he ran into the road and was hit by a car.

'am i a kid?!!' he screamed in his mind.

He had only felt pain for a split second as his body flipped through the air like a rag doll but by the time he hit the ground he was completely fine and the floor wasn't asphalt but dirt? As Lucca got up he had realized that he was in a small clearance in a deep forest but before he could start to understand what was going on this screen had popped up in front of his face.

'For some reason that smiley face is really irritating to see' He thought as he started to rub his aching head, not from the crash but from reading that message he had gotten a small headache.

Fortunately Lucca had read many stories like this before so not only was he able to calm himself very quickly but he was also a little excited.

'hmmmm so how to i open my system??' he wondered as he sat on the floor with his legs crossed.

'err... open!... system open!...system on?....Market open!.. Heavenly Market open!... Heavenly open?.. ...' just as Lucca was starting to give up a new screen had popped up in front of him once more.

"PS. oh i haven't given you the system yet, OK try it now it should work , Tehee." as he finished reading the message it quickly disappeared.

*sighs* 'why does reading these make me so tired' He thought as he shook his head.

Lucca only thought of opening the system and before he even said anything a blue screen with some writing appeared on front of him.

Lucca had never considered himself a smart man so fortunately it was very straight forward and easy to understand. Without even having to press anything when he thought about buying the screen had changed.

There were countless tabs you could choose from. Weapon, Armor, plants, Creatures, ores ... ect. There were so many options that when he tried scrolling down the scroll bar on the side wasn't even moving. The more categories he saw the bigger the smile that grew on his face.

``Everything is here!! hahaha this is great!!´´ Lucca said as he slapped his thigh making a loud noise echo through the forest, however he was quickly brought back to reality by the loud screech of a bird.

`I should probably get somewhere safe first´ As he was about to close the screen he saw a word at the corner of his eyes that made him stop *Shelters*.

Lucca quickly opened it up and there he found an almost infinite amount of different looking shelters, there were even apartment buildings and mansions and that huge mansion was only 20 HC

``So cheap!!´´ lucca exclaimed in suprise.

He started to slowly look through them one by one and he quickly understood why the ones he saw were so cheap. The buildings he was looking at were made with normal materials and there were no enchantments or anything on it, any strong earthquake could bring it down let alone a strong creature or an attack by magic.

As Lucca scrolled down he realized a huge price jump. The Tier 1 shelters with stronger materials materials and enchantments jumped to 200 HC! thats 10x more!

´´hmmmm .... hmmmmmmmm`` he closed his eyes and stroked his non existent beard as he thought really hard if it was worth it. At the end however he still decided to buy it, he wouldn't be able to use all that currency if he was dead.

Looking through and reading all the descriptions he finally found the perfect one, though it was a little more expensive than the others the more he looked at it the more he liked it. It was a Jet black tiny castle surrounded by jet black walls. Though he called it a castle it was the size of a small mansion and the walls surrounding it was around 10 feet tall. It Was called ``The Little Obsidian Home`` Not only was the material it was made out of very durable but there was a defense mechanism where it had an invisible defensive shield starting at the walls and surrounding the castle in a little dome. The best part however was that he didn't have to keep putting batteries in or anything, the jet black material would suck in the sunlight and charge by itself over time! think of all the money he would save!

Lucca himself didn't have much when he was on earth. He had finished college 2 years ago but still wasn't able to find a job so he had been surviving on instant noodles with the money his parents sent once in a while. For two years he was able to survive by only spending on necessities and every cent he found he would save it for later so even though he decided on the obsidian home it still hurt a little inside to spend so much at once.

Though it was hard he closed his eyes and bought it, as he did so the sound of a cashier sounded out ``KaChing!`` when he opened his eyes he saw 5 big words on the screen ``Thank you for your purchase!´´ however looking around he didn't find anything different other than his HC on the top right corner now saying 737.

``Wheres my little castle??´´ Lucca started to panic a little ``Did i get scammed??? ... can i get scammed?´´ from the corner of his eyes however he noticed a blinking red light with the shape of a backpack. Clicking on it he went to a new screen that said ``Inventory´´ at the top.

``I have an inventory too? great!!´´ he exclaimed loudly as he laughed

In there, there was the little castle he had bought and when he clicked on it he could choose to place it down, the screen had became a top down map of where he was with a ghost castle that he could drag and put down. he dragged it around and place it in the middle of the opening in the forest and then pressed finish. After he did so everything started to shake startling him. Lucca moved back in fright as cracks started appearing all over the ground, once he felt he was far enough he watched as the castle sprouted from the dirt like some kind of plant.

A few seconds was all it took for it to finish and there now stood the jet black castle surrounded by walls, it looked both powerful and... kind of cute.

Lucca went up to the to it, he then bit the tip of his finger and then pressed it against that cold hard surface. ´I think this is how it said i should do it in the instructions.`

A few seconds later a deep humming sound came from the castle and the walls, they became a deeper shade of black so deep it felt like you could lose yourself if you stared at it for too long. A light blue shield grew from the tip of the walls up until they converged like a dome surrounding everything and then it dissipated as if there was nothing there.

Lucca's eyes lit up as he saw what was happening and once it was finished he pushed opened the gates and walked in ``I finally own my own place!´´ he said looking up at the little obsidian home with a smile on his face, however before he could even take it all in the sun suddenly disappeared as a shadow covered not only Lucca himself but the whole of the little castle.
