The whole scene was like she was teleported back into her home. 

The food was those that she had grown up eating. She didn't hate the food from the Northern Kingdom. In fact, she had slowly grown to appreciate the bold flavors and the sometimes simple combinations of meat and vegetables. 

But seeing the plates in front of her, she couldn't help but tear up a little bit. Her stomach rumbled as the fragrances drifted around. 

Even the dishes themselves were from the Kingdom of Eversun. The dinner plates were those of fine porcelain with painted plum and cherry blossom patterns at the edges. 

"Korbin, thank you." Her voice trembled. "But next time, you shouldn't prepare such meals. There are so many holes in the walls here, and who knows what the chefs might say about you preparing food from the Kingdom of Eversun in such a setting?" 

"Princess, are you worried about me?" His eyes gleamed in anticipation.
