Her mind was numb, but her body was equally so. 

In the midst of the moment, she hadn't noticed it. But soon after they left the graveyard behind, Daphne realized that she could no longer feel her arms. As she shuffled back onto the carriage, it was like her hands were frozen, and any slight movement would snap off a finger or two. 

Her face was flushed pink, and tiny icicles formed at the tips of her eyelashes, slightly clouding her vision. 

She hadn't worn anything exceptionally warm earlier that day, so when Korbin dragged her to the clearing, every gust of wind was like a dagger tearing through her body. In fact, she didn't own anything particularly warm to begin with. After all, this type of weather was virtually unseen of back in the Kingdom of Eversun.
