That topic flew out of no where, taking Daphne by surprise. They were talking about ways to take down the Grand Minister, not about her well being. 

"They've been consistently looking, but the royal medics still can't find a recipe for the cure. So I suppose it's good that this ensures your health." 

It was suddenly difficult for Daphne to meet Korbin in the eye. The entire time, she had been wondering how to stab him in the back, but he was finding a way to cure her. Since the pain had subsided and she was busy researching the structure of the Northern Kingdom, she had almost forgotten the latent poison within her own body. 

Whether it be actual emotions or a way to manipulate her into debt, it had worked.
