1 Chapter 1
A whimper escapes my sparing partner as my fist makes contact with his face. In less than a second my foot makes contact with his head , knocking him out and as he landed on the ground, the smell of victory hit me leaving me with a smirk .
" I win ..... Again " I
I said in an irritated manner , nobody in the gym was a challenge or a competition .

Ever since I was seven years old I started training in the 3S.O.A ( Secret Supernatural Society of America ) We are in charge of keeping humans safe and keeping both worlds separate.
We are hunters we hunt that is what we train to do, and im one of the best, well the best ever since the explosion . And with that I began going on missions on the age of nine . With Nolann, he's the one who looks after me , after my parents died in a chemical explosion accident.
I don't really know what happened . Some how I cant remember anything from when I was younger than seven years old .
Well its not like it maters now, it's in the past, and I never look back .
Nolann had given me an assignment . It had something to do with some vampires from a drug dealing business . Apparently they mix their blood and make some type of new drug and sell it to humans.
Stupid humans , they buy anything just to get high . Even though I am human I considered my self as a mix between supernatural and human . I have been in so many missions its normal for me to be around supernatural things.

Nolann entered the gym , he had a worried face while he was talking on the phone with god knows who. But who ever it was made him nervous and I have never , ever seen him like that .

When I turned twelve my senses became stronger . I could hear, see , smell better, my agility and stamina became stronger almost as if I where not human. I think it has something to do with me taking down a crazy witch. She had thrown a potion at me, and she actually got me. Of course I never told Nolann, he would flip out . And probably have my blood tested and all of this unnecessary things.

I tried to use my hearing to listen to what he was talking about , but was distracted with my sparing partner whimpering in pain . Before I could refocus Nolann had ended the call . As he made his way towards us, I helped my sparing partner up.
"Change of plans " As soon as Nolann said that, I knew it had to do with the mission .
"What? Whats wrong ?" I asked trying to understand what was going on.
"No time, you need to leave as soon as possible, The car is waiting for you outside , everything you need is in the trunk " He said basically pushing me towards the exit .
I rushed out of the building and into the car . When I looked back Ian was behind me and Nolann as well, they where rushing after me . Ian got inside the car . Before I could question and demand that he would leave . Nolann interrupted my screaming .
"He's going with you , there are to many of them and you need help "
"No I do not, I can handle the situation" I protested, but it was no use .
"I am not taking any risks !! He is going with you and thats final!!"
"Alright" sighing knowing I wouldn't win the argument . He was the only one who could win the argument . As for anyone else, I always gotta win.
He ran back inside, but before he could enter the building he turned around and yelled.
"Before I forget ,the file thats in the backseat has all you need to know "
I nodded and drove away . Some how I had a weird feeling about this mission. I turned to Ian with a disgusted face all he did was give me that cocky smile. Ian is Nolann's nephew , he has been there for me all my life well as far as I could remember . And he was also my first crush, I just never told him.
I believe that feelings make you weak and your enemies can make them your weakness . I can, well... am, a very cold person when it comes to feelings . But that is in the past, I see him as a brother now. Nothing more nothing less.
"Do you think this mission will be easy?" Ian asked already knowing the answer.
"Isn't it always" I said as I turned to looks at him with a smile . But that weird feeling got stronger when he asked that question.
"So are you gonna make your first appearance as the Shadow Demon or as a normal teen ?" He asked making a curious face. Shadow Demon is what the creatures of the supernatural world call me. Because all you can see is my shadow I even heard some creatures tell this to others when I'm under cover . They also say that if you do look at me you will be dead the second you do. I am a very popular hunter in the supernatural world. Hearing these type of rummers make my day . It makes me feel that I'm doing my job right .
"Speaking of which, check out our names in the file , its in the back seat" I said pointing towards the backseat.
"Wow , check out our names he really did it this time . Nolann really was in a rush "
"Shut up and tell me the names"
"How em I supposed to tell you, when you just said to shut up?" At that I just rolled my eyes.
"Ian you know what I mean just tell me " I said in a surrender tone of voice.
"Alright my name is Chase Boyd and you are Rochelle Ford , I don't know what he was thinking I do not look like a Chase . And we are transfer students from Russia, we, I!! don't look Russian . Oh and we also have to go to school , wasn't all of those extra classes and summer school supposed to be! to finish school faster ?! " He yelled in annoyance, emphasizing every word with hand gestures.
"I hate school" he murmured while he looked out the cars window.
"Stop wining , You know , come to think of it, you do look like a Chase " knowing this would piss him off I started laughing . Chase was Ian's childhood enemy , he would always win first leaving Ian at second place. In everything , every sport, competition, tests, every quiz . Leaving Ian in second place.
"I most definitely do not!!" He wines like a little kid he looked so adorable when he did that.
The rest of the way he fell asleep leaving me at peace , he would never shut up . He would talk about god knows who and doing who knows what. He was a child even if he was older than me . I felt like the adult most of the time.
All I could think of was this weird feeling I had about this mission . I knew this would not be like the others.
Before I knew it, we had entered the towns premises. It was a high class small town with big houses and large lands . It was beautiful , school had already started a weak ago, and was about to start in a few hours .
We arrived at the house ,Ian was still asleep I parked my silver Audi TT in front of the garage, got out of the car and immediately smelled four werewolf's , they smelled quite nice actually . Like forest after a rainy day , way better than the last pack I faced they smelled like deer shit and the smell stayed in my nose for a week . They are trying to see if we are any threat to them because we where close to their territory .
I made my way to the house and as I got the keys from out of my pocket I looked up and saw one of there faces . He was tall, tan skin and light brown hair and dark brown eyes . He was wearing a light blue V-neck t-shirt and blue jeans.
I opened the door and went back to the car and opened Ian's door .
With a talk/screaming voice I almost forgot his name but remembered in time.
"Chase wake up !!! Where here !!! Come on school is gonna start in a few hours " it was actually five but we needed to unpack everything .
"Ahh!! Nothing is worse than school!!"
I rolled my eyes and opened the trunk . I grabbed all I could for a weak teen . Ugh! I hated being weak . But this was all so they could see that where no threat.
We got into the sound proof house with the latest technology and hidden weapons everywhere .
At the basement there is a gym and a torture room . Just to get information out of who ever we catch. The attic was my office, well...our office. It had spy gear and computers that was also the camera room. There are cameras all over the place. And to secure the perimeter we get a message in our phones, we also have a watch that vibrates when someone enters our rooms.
Ian's room is opposite to mine that way we can see who is on our territory . Ian's room has two windows, one revealing the front side of the house where you could see the sunrise, and the right side of the house.above the garage.
My room was in the back opposite side of the house. Also had two windows, one where you could see the sunset and the left side of the house. Both rooms filled with weapons. And spell potions to help hide our scent . And also allowing us to speak to each other telepathically.
We finished unpacking . Everything in my room was all set my walls had a painting instead of a solid color. And my red bed in the corner between the two windows . A black nightstand on the side of my bed, a black rug in the center of the room making my wood floor stand out. It looked so cozy like the rooms that you see at magazines , that automatically make you want to go to sleep.
My clothes color coordinated in my walk in closet. I am an organized freak I know. I love clothes, and inside I had my makeup area. And on the opposite side of my makeup area I had my shoes. I have allot of shoes when I'm not on missions I go shopping. My room is huge.
I am so glad Nolann actually got a big house. Normally he gets smaller places and it gets on my nerves at times. And since I didn't get to shower after I was sparing with Ian I needed a shower. I'm just so glad Nolan gave me this big room, I love it.
"Thank you Nolann "
I say before I walk in the restroom.
