1 DADDY CAN WE KEEP IT?

The housing agent went closer to the tree in the yard and out of the heap of leaves jumped out a white cute dog that wasn't more than three feet high.

"Awww, it's so cute, daddy can we keep it?" Isabella asked.

"Well, pumpkin I'm not so sure about that it could be a rabid dog." Mrs. Johnson said.

"Oh no, nothing like that ma'am, the last occupants of this house owned this dog, well I think the dog is stranded and has nowhere to go and it would be really nice if you took it in. If you're still doubting it's health status there's a vet at the T- junction."

"But what happened to the last occupants of the house?" Mrs. Johnson asked.

" We don't know but some rumours had it that they died but I think they moved cuz we hadn't seen them since last year."

"Ok then, you can keep it, as I can see it's not barking unnecessarily or foaming at the mouth, but it is dirty so why don't we go give it a shower." Mr. Johnson said as he scooped the dog into his arms walking towards the house with Isabella.

"Oh shit, damn it, my battery's dead" said Anika.

"When you never leave it alone, even just for a minute" said Daniel.

"Whatever, I'll charge it when I get into my room."

"Thank you so much, I think you should be going now, it's already late," Mrs. Johnson told the housing agent.

"Alright, goodnight ma'am," he said as he got into his car and drove off.

"Ok, Anika and Daniel get the things out of the car and into the house, tommorow we shall arrange all the clothes into their respective wardrobes."walking towards the house she turned back, "Lest I forget, Anika your bedroom is at the rear end by the left, Daniel yours is at the rear right and I'll show Isabella hers, okay?"

"Okay mom" they said in unison.

Mrs. Johnson walked briskly into the house and she could be heard calling out Isabella's name to come take a shower.

"Daniel" Anika called.

"Yeah, what's the problem?"he asked struggling to bring out a suitcase.

"This house kinda gives me the creeps."

"Oh Anika, stop being so childish, it's only because it's night that's why the house looks so scary. There's nothing to be scared about, we have neighbors, luckily they may even have daughters - of course good looking ones, and you could have sleepovers, gossip, walk to school together and so on."

"Thanks so much, I knew I could count on you to cheer me up."

"You're welcome, but it would be really helpful if you would help me bring out this suitcase, it's stuck."

"Ok,"she said holding unto one part of the suitcase."On the count of three, 1.....2...3, pull."

They both fell down with the suitcase on them, both laughing.
