7 Back for Dagger tip Fortress 2

In next few days he while traveling did the hunting also .He found his first boar after 5 days . It had its fur harden by many many years and teeth that could brake large wood trunks in the forest.

It even had territory marked by scent .

"First beast on on the road, Good " he smirked as he took out his copper knife .

After the first rabbit kill he found that he could summon it by will and although he could not do it with 100 % success he was slowly getting better.

Hoounk was heard as boar charged . Ivar grew careless over the days because of docile rabbits and deer .They could only run and even when they did ran he did not find any problems with catching them and slowly skin them for meat but boar was totally different .It had its own pride . For matters to be even worse Ivar was so confident that didnt even choose an uphill position.The boar came down like the wind and small bushes on the sides were destroyed by it as its nostrils were more like nostrils of the ox . Ivar jumped as high as he could but he could not dodge one of tusks.It had left a big deep wound on his left hand .Now he was finally scared as boar turned around and dag the earth with his hoofs and charged again .

This time he did no what to do .His eyes sparked and with pain he grabbed dagger and stabbed in empty space in front of him.Dagger went trough tick boar skull and it was dead.

"Huh From now on i need to treat every one of my enemies as freaking dragons. I almost died from this boar " and he pressed his torn cloth on the wound.

Knife again did the blood drinking but this time when Ivar separated bones from meat it did not stop!Its thirst was so great that i sucked the whole boars corpse dry.

"Fuck this I will not even eat the meat and it almost costed me my life "Ivar stood and screamed at the corpse .

Then he decided to return to pegagasus .

As spiritual creature of noble nature when pegasus saw bloodied and hurt Ivar he neighed worryingly .What a marvelous creature this was.Herbivore and peaceful one for sure but such a noble creature . It cared for the man whom it knew for only one week.

Ivar felt warm and decided to take a small nap to recuperate some of his strength .

After some time he awoke . Sun was now on its way to distant shores and running to mountain edge.By mere instinct he look onto his wound on left hand.IT WAS GONE!

"What the hell is happening ! Am i dreaming " he yelled and noticed the questioning look of the pegasus that was disturbed by the loud voice.

He checked his belongings and all was there . The 2 ice scrolls the stick that he used to hunt first rabbit and dagger.But when he closely looked to dagger he saw Rust , Lot more rust that previously was on it.

"Did the dagger give to me all the blood it absorbed? Probably that was the case here but i will not test it ! he muttered half puzzled but also half astonished .

"What a godly weapon This is" he proclaimed proudly -" And its all mine ahahah ".

"I must hide it from every one , this is to heaven defining and it will bring destruction upon me if any one knows that i have it , but what a blessing !Now i have a life saving treasure ."

I can only show it when none is around or when all folks around me are dead.

But time was still running out.Pegasus was only his for 1 month at least that was what old priest said. It had to return to temple after it. Problem with ice fauna was that it could not sustain life without pure ice qi and only place ice qi was available in Iclenad province was in Ice temple of Skadi.If Ivar mastered first three of qi circulation stances he could help it and feed it , but now it could only eat frosted grass and even amount of that were lesser and lesser as they went further towards south .

So he jumped on pegasuses snow back and they rode into the night .

They saw many valleys near the road. Ivar stayed onto his course due to his unfortunate accident with boar . Also the boar accident was just mere 10 km of the road and he knew that besides the beasts there are also fierce beasts ( ones that awoke part of their bloodline and got some intelligence) and maybe he could become lunch for some demonic beasts like trools ,ice giants or even some lesser dragons and he did not want to do it.

So he stayed on his pegasus. After 10 days he encountered first human carriages .There were different grades of carriages as well. Some were just wooden carriages and were pulled by warhorses others even had a squad of 40 accompanying them on foot.Northerners were not trustyfolk but since Ivar traveled on ice pegasus no one bothered him. They knew what ice pegasus was A symbol of Skadi temple and they all feared it with all their hearths. Few gods of great Northern wolf empire had such reputation but since she controlled one season and was also guardian of their shores she was bought well respected and feared by many .

That made journey even more easy .Now he was starting to be proficient with bronze knife as he had deer , rabbits and he even managed to slay a boar or two. It was all part of his training

His qi circulation also took less time to complete ,he did not know how shorter time it was but he was sure it was shorter by at least 10 minutes and now he could feel slight breeze when he was dancing like an idiot ,only sword arts of dragon school were like mountain peaks to him .Problem with the art was that it required person to be one with dragon and to replicate its might with sword , but how can someone be a dragon dancing if he did not even see dragon dance once ! And in manual it clearly stated :

"Lets leave it for later"- he sighted .

On the twenty-fifth day he finally saw the blue ocean. Worm wind and smell of salt welcomed him . He saw big long boats with dragon heads in the harbor . Finally its time for him and pegasus to part ways.

The noble beast was reluctant to leave him . They become friends over the month of the road and same thing was with Ivar as well.

Ivar just moved head close to pegasus .He kissed him on the forehead and pegasus raised his wings as sign of approval.

"You go now , if gods are kind we will see each other again !" Pegasus neighed and flew toward the north.

Ivar came trough village and went strait to harbor. "Are there any long ships that go to Dagger tip " he asked loudly.

"I am going there " responded warrior with caste braid on his beard and blue tattoo over his right eye.

"One of the berserkers but Why does berzerker captain go to Daggertip fortress ? Is something wrong with my family ?" boy was puzzled as he sate on place pointed by captain .
