10 The Aftermath!!!

The clean up of the whole royal kidnapping event took a few days to clean up, even with the help of everyone.

Josh and Jack managed to find a door that lead to a chamber deeper than the dungeon where not only the guards were being held, but also numerous maids and butlers. After being set free and getting proper food and hygiene taken care of, they all assisted in helping to restore the castle to it's previous glory.

Due to how ruthless Jinx had been when fighting his way up the castle, there were hardly any guards left alive and those that were still breathing had the fate of being thrown into the dungeon. Jinx felt a bit of pity for them now but he shrugged it off as he knew that they had brought it upon themselves.

The maids and butlers had to spend hours scrubbing away at the vast amounts of blood that was scattered throughout the castle. The blood hadn't dried yet so it was pretty easy to clean, but the fact that there was so much of it made it more difficult to clean it all up. Jinx wanted to help them tidy up, but as everyone had heard he was engaged to the two princesses, the maids and butlers refused to let him even lift a finger. However, when Jackey offered to help, they dressed her in a full on maid outfit and forced her to clean. It was immediately apparent where she stood in the eyes of others.

Regardless of what they said however, Jinx never stopped trying to help. As a way of saying thanks, he opted to head to the kitchen instead and cook up everyone a delicious meal. The cooks weren't very fond of the idea at first, but after Jinx started teaching them a recipe they had never heard of before, they were all excited about the prospect and readily followed his lead.

Afterwards, Jinx walked over to where the guards were training and helped them out, teaching them a training session that had made him as strong as he was. He was actually teaching them the basics as he wasn't about to show others secrets only him and his brothers knew. He wasn't so nice as to give away his own secrets.

Violet and Bristley followed Jinx around almost the whole day as he traveled from his attempt to clean, to the kitchen, and then to the guards. They had been instructed by their father to get closer to the young man and observe his behavior in order to see if they truly wanted to marry him. The rest of the sisters followed along with them as they also wanted to see what type of man could win the hearts of two of their sisters.

Though each sister was different, they each shared a similar mindset. After watching him for a bit, they all discussed and came to the conclusion that he was an amazing guy who was hardworking and kind. This was evident by the way he treated everyone with similar respect regardless if they were butler, maid or guard. He seemed to be polite and showed care for others despite also being a total killing machine capable of mowing down 80 or so guards in a few hours.

After roaming around the castle for a few hours and visiting various places, Jinx decided to go and see the king and queen, both of whom had disappeared into their library around an hour after being freed. Though Jinx wanted to respect their privacy, he also wanted to discuss a few things regarding the world he was in, the thing called magic, and some details regarding the wedding he heard was supposed to take place in three months time.

Bidding his entourage of princess sister stalkers goodbye, he made his way over to the second floor library where the king and queen had shut themselves in. It had two huge heavy looking doors, but as it had been one of the places Jinx had checked during his killing spree, he already knew that the doors were pretty light. He also had a pretty good layout of the room pictured in his mind from earlier when he had entered the room.

Glancing at his ripped clothes and scratched arms, Jinx sighed. "I wonder if they'd let me and my brothers use their shower and give us clothes. With my luck it probably wouldn't happen like that but it's still nice to think that they would." He shook his head as he pushed open the door and walked inside the room.

The room was just as big as he remembered it, around the size of 4 houses could easily fit into the room and two houses could easily be stacked on top of each other with how high the cieling was. Books filled every nook and cranny of the long shelves that lined the walls and formed columns which were akin to a real library. To say that it was an amazing would be an understatement as it was by far the most magnificent room Jinx had been inside in his entire life.

In the middle of the enormous room sat a large oak table resting on the scarlet carpet rug. Sitting side by side and perusing a rather large book was the king and queen themselves, unaware that Jinx had even entered the room. Their attention was fully devoted to the book and ttheir discussion amongst themsleves. Jinx managed to catch a few choice words and phrases such as "Different world", "flash of light", and "Secrets".

Jinx made his way over and took a seat across from them, relaxing into the rather comfy cushioned seat as he waited for to acknowledge his presence. However, after sitting in the chair for 10 minutes and they still hadn't so much as even looked at him, he was forced to politely clear his throat in order to let them know that he was here.

Startled, they both looked up from the book and stared at Jinx for a few seconds before they blinked, realizing who they were looking at. The queen, a gorgeous blonde woman with a large bust and a stunning green dress , closed the book, stood up and went farther into the library, leaving the king and Jonx alone together.

"Sorry about that son," The king said with a laugh as he ran his hands through his bright red hair. "Its just that we get so caught up in our research that we don't pay attention to anything else. Anyways.....what brings you here my boy?"

"Its fine sir," Jinx responded with a small smile. "I just had a few questions I wanted to ask you about regarding magic. I also would like to ask a few questions about the marriage and your customs if thats alright."

"First off, please call me father or Jonathan from now on as calling me sir makes me feel old," The king laughed and flashed a friendly smile. "As for your other questions, you don't know much because your from another world right?"

Jinx nearly fell out of his chair after hearing the Jonathan say something so accurate. He was certain no one had told him anything about where they were from. "How did you...." He was so confused he couldn't even complete his sentence.

"My dear future son-in-law, me and my wife arent idiots," Jonathan smiled and tapped the his temple. "Your amazing combat ability, your intelligence which is evident in everything you do, your lack of knowing who we are despite being in Protera kingdom. Not to mention the fact that we personally saw your 5 friends appearing out of nowhere in a flash of bright light."

Jonathan folded his arms on top of the table. "In regards to magic, there's a thing called summoning magic thats generally forbidden throughout multiple kindgoms and countries. Its known as Hero Summoning magic. It allows the user to summon a potential hero from a random time period, however it also brings in everyone whose in a mile radius from the target."

"Thats sounds dumb," Jinx said outright after hearing the explanation of the magic. "Why even use it if your gonna drag others into your spell, then you won't even know who the hero is."

"Precisely why it was banned," Jonathan said with a nod of agreement. "However, the other problem is that even though you summon the hero, everyone who is summoned will be scattered from the summoner within a twenty mile radius, making the spell completely useless. Its a spell thats only bothersome and pulls other innocent people into the problem."

"Okay, so lets just set all that aside," Jinx said as he rubbed his temples with his fingers. "I don't really care how I was brought here. I wanna know if theres any way back."

Jonathan shook his head almost immediately. "Thats what me and my wife were searching for, but it appears as if the spell is permanent. Probably another reason why it was banned. The hero and the others summoned are forced to remain in the world for the rest of their days. Its just another reason to not use such a spell apart from the fact that its useless."

Jinx had suspected as much but he had been holding on to hope that he could return to his own world. Letting out a sigh he simply smiled, looking at the bright side as usual. "Well its not really a problem as I have many things I want to do here."

"Hmmmm, you got a good attitude about things and I like that," Jonathan nodded his head in approval. "So, you had some questions about magic and marriage customs right?"

Jinx smiled. "Its okay if you wanna skip over the magic stuff for now as I seem to have enough time for that since I'm goong to be stuck here. I would like to know about the marriage customs though."

"Well, theres really not much to say," Jonathan said, leaning back in his chair. "You wear an official attire and your bride walks down the isle. You say your vows and then you kiss the bride. The honeymoon follows after, although that parts gonna be tricky as you literally have two princesses to marry. However, thats basically all you need to worry about. Everything else will be taken care of."

"Does that mean you didn't have to worry about anything during your wedding day?" Jinx asked curiously. "You make it sound so easy."

"Well as your neither nobility or royalty, some or even most of the invited guests will insult you behind your back or even to your face," The kong laugjed awkwardly as he ribbed the back of his neck. "However, other than that, its pretty easy."

"Insults are not a problem as I've dealt with worse." Jinx smiled and stood up from his chairs. He had to go and inform his brothers about the circumstances as well as what they needed to do next. He had already analyzed the situation and determine the next course of action that would guarentee their survival. "With all due respect...father, I'll be taking my leave now."

"Hahahaha, I alwahs wanted a son," Jonathan said as he also stood up. "You have no idea how much I wanted a strong son with a good heart to take over the throne." He stepped forward and put Jinx in a headlock, his laugh echoing through the library. "Make me proud son, even if you do leave to travel the world, make sire everyone remembers the name of the next future king."
