Chapter 4| Trust Issues

Wait! That's it?

I looked around to find myself in a total different place, but hear me when I say that the books exaggerate when they describe someone who had just moved in another dimension.

There's no falling, no passing out and I don't even feel slightly dizzy. Everything seemed okay, but I am still freaked out that there over 90% that Keith's story is true.

I looked around me, not realizing where I was standing as I was dragged with thoughts. I seemed to be standing in a room, where its place I don't know where either...

I saw a huge, dusty box in the corner of the small room. It had an old, big lock, which took the excitement from me to open it.

I made my mind up, to go and get Caroline and return back to explore whatever that place was with me.

I turned back to the glowing bubble and as I was just going to enter it felt like the bubble just-pushed me?

Bubbles can't push! Can they?

I ran furiously through and this time I felt on my back frowning. As I was still on the dusty floor I sat up, and picked up a small paper I just saw on the ground.

"Dear Millicent" I muttered quietly "You were chosen, be careful, you won't pass until you get your mission." I flipped the paper to its back

"PS. There is a small door for you to get through at the right corner.

Plus, there is a key on the floor, you will need it.

Your dearest friend Mimba (the little fairy)"

God I hate that fairy.

I looked at the right corner in front of me, to find a door that can allow me to pass, only if I crawl. I found the key and picked it up, I looked at it for a moment, there is no way that this is the key of the box's lock, it was really small.

I walked to it, and flipped myself on my abdominal to crawl and to find myself to a short tunnel.

Stupid Fairy.

I walked through and got up, to find a humanly passing door in front of me. I guess it's a hidden tunnel then?

I put my hand in my pocket and took out the key I just found, to find that it perfectly fits on the door's lock; I turned around as I gladly heard the sound of the door being unlocked.

I walked out making sure that I locked the door again, don't judge me! I maybe have trust issues...

Anyway, it turned into that I am standing in the attic of some house, I knew it's an attic because of the small window on my right that shows the front garden; I feel that later on I am going to find out that Caroline and her friends were playing a prank on me, just a thought.

I started walking down the short staircase I found across the attic, to get out from that door in the end of it.

As I moved my hand forward the door handle, I heard faint steps sound that was rising slowly, I looked at the door nob as it slowly started moving and the door started opening, revealing a little ray of light from the opening crack.
