1 Woke up

'where am i?'

The odd thing woke up in a place full of darkness and couldn't see anything even their own hands if not because of the glimpse of moonlight entering from the stone gate in front of them.

The leather like things touched the odd thing's skin, it has brown color the same as the cracked stone floor underneath. The odd thing tried to remember anything but doesn't seem to find anything nor understand anything, not even the reasons why it there.

The constricted odd thing tried to get it eyes to adapt to the darkness surrounding it only to find out that it was not alone there. At least 4-5 things who wear the same cloth as it were collapsing on the stone floor. each of them have the same strange exotic coat like the one the odd thing wear. Looking at it, the coat have both the texture and looks of a reptile. Though they are all sure not a reptile, it just that they wear reptile skin coat which made them looks a quite weird.

Although they were on a stone floor, the floor doesn't feel cold at all instead it was slightly warm. The odd thing wasn't sure about the environment surrounded them, although the environment wasn't bad the odd thing could feel unfamiliar strange things began entering it's body. It fell like a warm steam coming from a hot spring yet unexpectedly doesn't soggy when touching it skin. The odd thing could not figure out what is it.

The odd thing began to though there is so much question in it's head, survive was clearly a priority but do the others still alive? If they were, the odd thing need to went and get a help as fast as it could.

After thinking sometimes the odd thing began to notice, there is a pocket infront of the belly position of the coat and there is something in it.

The odd thing put it hand in the pocket hoping to find something useful.

Ouch!

There is a sharp object sliver it hand, astonishing the odd thing. The cut began to bleed, taint the coat with blood. The odd thing tried to move it arms and legs, then crawl on the cracked floor to the sound of water near the stairs since it doesn't have any energy to get up properly.

The odd thing doesn't know if the object poisonous or not, it heart began to race after thinking about the possibility. There was no antibiotic nor antidote, a poison could be a fatal thing which lead to death. The odd thing mind began to consume up all the worse possibility it's anxiety assumed.

The odd thing crawl to the stairs which lead to the outside, the As the odd thing get close to the stairs the odd thing began to notice the long annoying hair it has.

'So troublesome, I'il cut it later'

Upon reaching the stairs the see there is a small waterline near it.

The odd thing put my hand on the water after smelling it to make sure it is clean and would not made the wound worsened.

The cold water wash of the blood in it hand, after washing it hand, it tried to once again take out the sharp object in it pocket.

After a careful attempt the odd thing successfully take out a white claw like sharp object from it pocket. The bigger side of it is dull while the small side of it that looks like the tip of a claw is sharp.

Good, I could wash it and cut my hair first with it.

After sometime it finished cutting it's hair, the odd thing is actually a female and it realize it but would never admit, the odd thing's gut told so.

The time the odd thing finished cutting it hair in no time.

A black hair and fair skin, the odd thing sure am not looking so bad.

The odd thing drink the cold water from the waterline before get up, sore rest already given it enough time to slightly recover.

Ughh

Right before the odd thing stand up a voice came from behind it.

"Wait there, I'il go get help"

The first odd thing leave them on the cave like place after closing the door, the odd thing made sure no dangerous animals will enter the cave of else things would be disastrous miserably view when the odd thing get back.

The woods were silent that night only configuration of a small amount of animals like squirrels and birds could be seen in the dark. Most animals were distanced themselves from the odd thing, as if they took aware of the danger possessed by the odd thing. The sound of the wind howling between the branches resulting in an inexplicable sound which thrilling anyone hearing it.

The odd things found a river nearby and began to run following the riverside in hope to find a village as fast as it could.

Out of the blue the odd thing immediately stopped as if it have a brake. It got the hunch that something is in front of it was possessed danger to odd thing in this condition.

Sreg sreg

A small grey shadow could be seen between the bushes, then a monster came out from it, it still have small twigs and leaves stuck in it head. The looks a like boar standing in 2 feet staring back at the odd thing.

But it not the end, a moment after that something much bigger came out from the bushes and immediately rushing toward the odd thing.

The odd thing evade the shadow by a small gap, just late a second could result in fatal damage to the odd thing. The gap between them just as thin as a paper!

The odd thing turned it's body toward the shadow.

An adult Ork!

A large Ork standing in front of it stand still holding a small wooden stick with black stone at the end of it, It let out a snorting sound while staring at the odd thing. The around 300 lbs Ork stand with it's eye locked at the odd thing.

The odd thing began to backward slowly.

The Ork attempt to rush toward the odd thing one more time.

This time the odd thing evade resulting in the Ork crashed into a tree, right when the Ork crashed, a 30 centimeter knife like claw transfix hard through the back of it neck slashing down the Ork's neck. A white light began to emit from the knife as it touch the Ork's body

Ouuugghh!

A black thing like mist began to rush out from it's body. The Ork let out a pained scream before began falling down to it's knee in slow motion, later to the earth.

Watching it's parent die the young Ork was attempted to avenge it's parent by rushing toward the Odd thing, the result could be known, the odd thing killed the kid Ork too. the odd thing let the kid ork's corpse lay down beside it's parent before leaving.

2 hours later the odd thing keep running while avoiding and killing monsters, it sure drained the odd thing's stamina, the time the odd thing was arrived to a town the people who have been busy with their morning activity immediately turn to the odd thing.

"Who are you!?"

"An adventure!?"

"Is that person really an adventure? "

"but why is he so messy?"

"Call Gillian!"

Upon seeing It they all are panicking, the odd thing have no idea why since before It came out the odd thing make sure It look decent enough.

"I'm sorry… wh" before the odd thing could asking anything a man arrive. A man with wild dark greyish hair and a pointy ear come with a young girl with creamy blonde hair with flower tucked in her hand basket. Upon seeing him everybody calmed down.

"It was the thing that made the whole village panic Gillian…" the young girl told the man with greyish hair.

"Calm down, it just a man with earth salamander coat covered in blood"

Oh? was it why the villager were disorganized upon seeing me?

"Who are you?" the man asked calmly. He looks trustworthy and dependable but the odd thing couldn't answer him. The situation was really strange, the odd thing doesn't know where to begin. It doesn't even have any idea why it end up there especially when the man put a big sword right in front off the odd thing's neck.
