33 Chapter 28 - Delivery
Two hours after Takashi had woke, he was inside a cab heading downtown.
He was already putting in practice his agenda for the day.
As he was already halfway to his destination, he took his cellphone and called Yurika.
"Hey Yurika"
"Good morning, Taka-kun" said Yurika in a rather sluggish voice.
She was never a morning person. In fact, she often took naps in the car that drove her school during school days, as Takashi came to know when her father still let him took a ride when he was younger.
He has being more protective of her lately, specially over the last months.
It was kind of hypocritical of him in Takashi's opinion, since in her story he would basically sell her in order to save his company, but right now he wouldn't bother himself with it.
That problem would soon disappear.
"I just wanted to hear how have you being"
"Really? I thought that Taka-kun had forgotten about me" she said sarcastically.
"I know, I haven't talked to you as often during this last couple of days" Takashi said in an apologetically tone.
He obviously didn't regretted what he's being doing, but that wasn't excuse to neglect her as well.
"How about we go out tomorrow, like we used to? Just the two of us. Obviously I pay fro everything."
"Heee, really? You mean like a date?"
"It's not like a date, it's a date"
"..."
"Hello? Yurika?"
Apparently his response had stunned her, since she couldn't even reply to him.
"If you don't want to..."
"N-No, I-I do! I really do! I-I was ju-just surprised, that's all!" she said in a shaky voice.
"So I take you want to"
"Yes!" she said in excitement.
After that they discussed a few details about their date.
"Until tomorrow Yurika"
"I'm looking forward to it" said Yurika in a happy tone.
Saying their good byes, Takashi couldn't help but smile for Yurika's enthusiasm.
He already new she had feelings for him, but he couldn't act on them because of the threat looming over her family.
He wasn't certain about it, but there was the great possibility that the man targeting her would act the moment he becomes aware that Takashi and Yurika became lovers.
The kind of person that would send a video of them 'corrupting' someones else girlfriend is someone that enjoys other people misery. The kind of person that would feel pleasure in imagining other people sinking in the depths of despair seeing the people they love surrender themselves to some else.
As such, while it annoyed him to no end, he couldn't advance o Yurika until that man was dealt with. It wasn't that by postponing his plans for her would protect her forever, but probably would delay the other person agenda for her for a while.
But now that wouldn't be a problem. In fact, while he was planning with Yurika their date, he was already putting in practice his plans to deal with the piece of shit threatening her family.
A few minutes later, he finally arrived at his destination.
An electronics store.
He had two purposes by coming here. Retrieve an order he had made a few days ago, and to fool Rina in thinking that he would take a while to return home.
Today Yuria would be out for a long time, making her usual purchases for the house necessities, and Anna had plans to go to a study group with her friends.
Anna was a little sad when she informed he that they wouldn't be able to spend more time together, but Takashi said it wasn't a problem, since he planned to make a move on Rina today.
He said to his family that he had to buy a few components for his computer, so he would go out to buy them. They knew that he liked to take his time to decide in what to buy, so they probably expected him to take a few hours until coming home.
Only Anna knew that he had already bought what he wanted and was going to the store to take it home.
The trip was mainly an excuse to make it seen that no one would be at home.
Rina had said that she would go see a movie with her friends, but Takashi knew that was just an excuse, so that she could go back home a few minutes later.
She had ordered a cosplay, and it was going to be delivered that day, when she thought everyone of her family would be out of the house.
She didn't wanted to anyone to know about that, believing that they would look at her with cold eyes because of her tastes.
As such, she scheduled that week the delivery to be when she knew that everyone else would be out of the house, giving her the opportunity to hide before they could see.
Despite of that, Takashi was aware of the delivery.
He had installed a program in her computer that allowed him to know what she was doing.
So he knew about the delivery.
But not only that, he also knew that she was in the middle of registering on a streaming site.
The only thing that was missing was a picture to be show in the profile and, if his suspicion was right, she intended to use a picture of her using the cosplay.
But he wouldn't allow that.
