78 Chapter 71 - Her Reasoning

Nothing bad happened, I was just struggling with decisions about this work. Before any of you that follow this story get worried, I won't drop it.

Yurika's words made Takashi's mind to stop working for a few seconds, stopping walk in the middle of their path home.

Yurika didn't left Takshi's side for one moment, simple looking at him patiently.

'How did she knew?!'

He intended to talk with her about it eventually, but he didn't expected that she woudl bring the subject himself.

'Okay, breath, breath, don't panic'

He breathed deeply, trying to regain his cool. As soon as he managed it, he was able to notice that there was no judgment in Yurika's gaze. She wasn't looking at him with reproach, anger, or anything similar.

She was just waiting patiently for him to speak.

Gathering his courage to deal with this potentially explosive situation, Takashi asked the question that was in his mind.

"Since... since when did you know?" he asked nervously.

"For a few months" she answered flatly.

'Months?! But I only acted on it a few weeks ago. How did she know for that much time?'

"How did you know?" he asked in surprise.

"I could see how you looked at Anna and Rina, and since I'm not your sister I could deduce that you wasn't going to just ogle at them, but act on it" she explained.

"At that point it was just a suspicion, but a few days after our first date, during the dinner at your house that you invited me, I could see how they were acting differently and I was certain that you wanted to create a harem by that point" she finished her explanation.

He was stunned by how much she was able to deduce with just those few informations. He knew that she was intelligent, but was still surprised by how much.

But there was still two things that he had to ask.

"Are you really fine with the harem idea? Including my sisters?" he asked still a little doubtful.

If it were asked whether a girl would want to be the only partner of someone or be a part of a harem, she obviously would say she rather be the only one, specially considering that Yurika was the heir of her father's company while Takashi was basically a no one. His father might have a successful business, but there was no sign that he would passe it to Takashi in the future.

That's why he still thought it was a little odd that Yurika was easily accepting his plan to maintain a harem.

Hearing his question, Yurika looked at him with a strange expression.

"Taka-kun, you know that my father sometimes take me to banquets frequented by people of high society like him, don't you?" asked Yurika.

He was baffled by the sudden change of subject, but Yurika wasn't the type of person that would avoid something while talking about it, so he concluded that the question might have something to do with their conversation.

"Yeah, why?" he replied, following her line of conversation.

"Well, during these events I happen to hear about a few strange situations of those people.So believe me, a harem is actually the most normal kind of relationship to them" she said with a complicated expression.

Her statement was something that he didn't expected. He knew that, considering the gods that ruled this world, there might be unexpected things that happen in the world more commonly than he was aware of, but not that it would make even Yurika a little creep out like she looked.

'How much these relationships can be?'

"Can you give me an example?" he asked unable to control his curiosity.

"...well, there is one woman that is the CEO of a chain of veterinary clinics, and she have her own harem" said Yurika.

"That's it? What's strange about it? She likes both men and women?" he asked, a little disappointed by how common it sounded, for a harem.

"No, no, she definitely likes only males"

Hearing that Takashi couldn't but think that it was even more normal than he initially thought. After all, what was the abnormal thing about a woman liking men?

Than something that Yurika said caught his attention.

'Wait, why did she said 'males'?

Instead of saying that this woman CEO liked men, she said that the CEO likes 'males', suggesting something that never passed through his mind.

"You are not saying that..."

"She have a lot of stables as well"

"Okay, that's enough"

He really didn't wanted to think those things. They went in the direction of fetishes that he wasn't particularly fond of.

Now he understood why Yurika was so okay with the idea of a harem. If that woman situation was something that was known among her circle of acquaintances, he could only imagine what others kind of situation existed.

Yurika's next words helped him to stop thinking about that situation.

"Besides, I'm also certain that my father will be a little more open to letting me be a member of your harem Taka-kun" continued Yurika.

"Your father?"

"Yes. If it was only dating you he wouldn't protest much. You're smart Taka-kun, so he wouldn't have to worry much about the future of his company. But if you want to create a harem, you needed to prove to be capable of, not only manage the company, but also grow to be someone even more powerful in the future than he is now. Hearing how much Yurika was able to think about the whole situation, Takashi found himself unable to say anything anymore.

"Are you really certain about this?"

He was already convinced about her decision, he still found himself in need to make certain.

In response Yurika rolled her and kissed him, a little peck on the lips.

Smiling sweetly she said "I'm absolutely certain. Please treat me well"
