8 You Are The Boss
I come before Theodore and if that happens, he is very mad at me. I call Theo early in the morning to help me to change all the design of the shop since my customers want a new style of the shop. They wanted the shop like a cute coffee shop in Japan and my team would dress up as cute butlers and maids but we used the flight style instead of the anime style of the coffee shop.
"Mia, sorry I was late. Justin told me that he wants to come with me and help with the decoration but he was being lazy and snuggled at my body." He says as he's taking a deep breath. I frown when he said that Justin snuggled on his body. Is there something that happened between these two?
"Snuggle at your body, huh?" I whisper but enough for Theo to hear what I said while crossing my arms around my body.
"I...I, l...let's start decorating." He stutters when he infers what he said. We start decorating the shop like a classic diner-style in America that you normally seen but the difference is we want the shop as a flight style like you are taking a plane.
We finish decorating the place when Justin, Yoongi, and Jennie go to the shop as early as the open time. I grab the uniforms which I rented yesterday. The style of the uniforms is the flight attendant in the movie that I really like.
The story of the movie was the girl wants to be a flight attendant so she got out of her parent's room since his father is an alcoholic abusive and her mother couldn't live with his husband. And to achieve her dreams, she started off the small plane before getting from the big company.
All the customers like the new style of the shop and also our uniforms which are very pleasant to hear. "Thank you for coming to the shop." I greet the customers that come and leave the place. I stand at the counter as a cashier. Justin and Yoongi could bake some pastries as Theo and I did all the beverages and Jennie as a waitress.
"Welcome to the Rafflesia Cafe, what can I get for you?" I greet one of the customers.
"I like to have a medium size of pumpkin spice latte and a chocolate croissant." He says.
"What was your name?"
"Clint." I nod and write his name on the cup and give the cup to Theo.
"That would be $15," I say while smiling at the customers. While he gives me his money, he says something that made me uneasy.
"You know, I remind you of someone." I just hum at him while smiling.
"You are like the apple of my eyes." He said in a flirt voice. I feel a shiver through my spine when he said that.
"Do y—"
"Sir, you are making the cashier uncomfortable so stop flirting at her. She is not interested." Yoongi cut him off. He glares at Yoongi as he takes his leave. I take a deep breath to release the tension inside me.
"Thank you Yoonie for doing that. I don't know what I could do if you didn't take action." I say in relief.
"No problem, Tae didn't see that coming since he was very busy doing the drinks so I took the action to push him off." He says while smiling.
"What a creep guy," Jennie says out of nowhere. She crosses her arms as she rolls her eyes at the guy a while ago.
"What did he do to you?" I ask her.
"He was just whistling at me and it is very rude!" She exclaims I gazed at Yoongi, who's now furious at the guy and when I see him want to punch him, I stop him from walking to the guy's direction and shake my head.
"Let me do the work. Theo, pack his order and I will push him away from the shop. He is crossing the line." He salutes and packs his order into the plastic bag along with his drinks.
"I'm at your back when that guy did something with you," Yoongi mutters.
Jennie smiles at me and Yoongi gives me a quick nod when I stroll to the guy's direction without leaving a smile on my face. I place his order on the table and when he sees his order packed in a plastic bag, he glares at me.
"I order for dining, not for takeout! What do you think you're doing?" He yells at me as he hurls the croissant at my face. I seize my temper as I take a deep, heavy sigh.
"Sir, you are crossing the line. Whistling my waitress, flirting at me when I only do my job, and now throwing my food at my face. I think you should leave sir." I mumble in a calm voice since I don't want to disturb other customers.
"Are you mocking me? I'm the customer here so you can't just throw me away. I want to speak to the manager and tell your manager to fire you!" He cries out of my face but he doesn't even stand. I roll my eyes and signal Yoongi to come over me as he stands behind me.
"Sir, I'm afraid that you just yelled at the owner of the shop," I say while glaring at him.
"Are you making fun of me? You are the owner? Under—" I cut him off when I feel the turmoil inside me.
"You should back off now before I call the police. I have footage around the place. So I am giving you a second chance to GET OUT of MY SHOP before I take action. Sir." I say sternly. He blinks multiple times and looks around when he realizes that everyone is staring at him. He rudely stands up as he grabs his drinks and the croissant that he just throws at my face and before he leaves, he glares at me.
"What a rude customer." I hear one of the customers mutters. I smile at them and bow.
"Sorry for the commotion. Please continue on what you are doing." I say while smiling and walk to Yoongi, who's giving me a big smile.
"You are such a strong and the best boss. You stand up with me, Mia. Thank you for that!" Jennie says as she gives me a hug.
"You think I'm the best boss?" I ask her. Theo wraps his arms around my shoulder, Justin peeks at the pantry and gives me a thumbs-up, and Yoongi nods.
"You are the best Mia so don't forget that. You always stood up for us, gave us enough rest, took our job, and had a decent payment. So without you, we are nothing." Theo says. I feel my tears rushing through my cheeks when a sentimental moment hints to my heart.
"Thank you for believing me," I say while hugging them individually. And when I hug Justin on the counter, I see the guy, who always sat on his spot beside the glass window. He is smiling at me. I don't know why he's just smiling at me but I also gave him a big smile.
'I guess I'm not a bad guy.'
