10 Theodore's Life

"They were having a party after my birthday. Mother wants you to come and that's an order." He says sternly. There, I see Theo sighs and walks out and went to the pantry. I keep my gaze to the man, who's now looking at me and he was smirking at me. I feel my blood rushed through my face that forms into a blush. So I look away and finish my food. "What a flirt man," I whisper.

Thereafter, I decide to invite Theo to my apartment to watch a movie since he says that he missed my cat Yang and not me. I want to be mad at him but in all honesty, he is very distracted, or should I say remorse because of the man's words. I don't know what is their relation but what I know is, he feels humiliated.

"Let's go," I say in a cheerful tone after closing the shop. We wander back to my apartment and none of us dares to talk. I sigh as I decide to break the silence.

"I don't know what happened a while ago but you know that I'm always here for you when you feel empty, right?" I ask while taking his hand and intertwine to my hand.

"I know that is why I'm very lucky to have a best friend like you." I pull him to the grass field to take a break from the tiring day.

"Do you want to talk about what happened in the shop?" He turns his face to my direction and shakes his head as an answer.

"I can't talk about it right now but I will open it to you when I'm ready." I nod.

Theo was very fragile even when we were a kid and for some reason, he was always looking helpless when he was alone and he got easily bullied when we were a child so Justin and I always protect him from the bullies. That was what we can do to make him safe when he was around us.

I discovered Theo in front of their gate, sitting on the ground while hugging his knees and crying hysterically so I helped him out and walked with him on my house and considering as he is my neighbor. His parents always fighting and some point, they put their rage to Theo which was a very huge impact on him.

And at a young age, his mother died and his father leaves Theo behind so my parents decided to support all his needs and live with us permanently and when we got in college, he discovered that his father married his affair.

We grew up inseparable when we realize that we can't live without each other and my heart can't take if I caught him distressed and got humiliated with everyone around him so I decided to do my best to protect him.

"What do you want to watch?" I ask him.

"I want trolls." He says in a cute tone. I roll my eyes at him. We both stand up and walk to the apartment.

After a long walk, we enter my apartment and place the leftover foods on the table. Yang strolls to my direction and snuggles to my feet so I pick her up and caress her body as she wants. Theo jumps at me when his eyes land to Yang. I give her to him yet Yang yanks away from Theo's arms which makes him dejected when she rejected him. I just giggle.

"I'll just re-heat the food so we could start watching a movie," I say and place the food in the microwave and while waiting for the food, I start the movie so Theo can watch his favorite cartoon.

"What are you planning for your birthday?" Theo asks.

"Simple celebration like we always do way back in college. Chicken along with the beer that we wanted or soju would be fine." I say. I hear the alarm of the microwave.

"I got it!" Theo announces as he runs to the kitchen to plate our food. I put some food on the bowl of Yang since it's empty.

"You are eating so well." I praise my cat and as a reward, I will give her a full massage. Theo set the food on the table so we can start eating when hearing my stomach growling.

He gives me a plate with food.

"After the anniversary, we could have three days vacation," I say to Theo.

"Sounds great! Since we open the shop, we aren't having a vacation." He mumbles as placing his plate on the table when he's done eating.

I know so I'm thinking of having a three days vacation." I mumble as I took a bite of my food.

"What do you suggest?" He implores.

"It has cold weather, we cannot swim at the beach. We can mountain climbing and have camped at night." I suggest.

"Yoongi is not fond of mountain climbing since it was too much worked but it is a good idea so Yoongi could do an exercise."

"I know right. He was being unhealthy when he hasn't enough sleep and barely eats his food" I say.

"But what can we do about that, he was pursuing his dream so he's busy producing his music. He doesn't want us to get worried about him but here I am, worried about his health." I added as placing my plate onto the table. Theo gets up to clean the table and wash the dishes.

After that, we resume the movie that we leave on the play mode when I suddenly open about the vacation that I've been thinking the last month. I want to give my team a reward for being a hard-working employee so we can also have a bond with each other. We aren't having a nice vacation since we graduated be use we become so busy at work.

Also maybe. Just maybe, I will meet the one for me on the vacation. I'm not being desperate but I'm being lonely lately. So I wish I meet him! Please give this to me.
