47 It Was Just A Bet

I stroll back to our table, crouching beside Theo, who's staring at me. I smile at him, shaking my head as I cross my legs whilst staring at my phone. 

Suddenly, I hear my phone notify as I hurriedly check on it. Then, it looks like the money has been transferred to the bank account that dad gives to me. 

It'll be a great time but what are the prizes for the auction that they prepare? A rare jewelry? Or authentic things like vases? 

"Ehem! Mic test!" I snap into a reality when a host suddenly taps the mic. 

"Okay, Good evening everyone! Thank you, investors and the representatives of their company! But now, we will be starting the true party for this event!"

 We all clap to the host as he signs the music producers to play some hype beat for his announcement. 

"We will be starting the auction for the chosen charity, the children's hope  foundation!"
