Entering A Forest

After packing up and getting ready the two set out to explore the unknown world once more.

The little thing wasn't on his back this time but on his chest, he made sure the straps were secure as he then continued the journey. The sun rose high in the sky scorching the land.

But this wasn't a bother for Tristan because he had an umbrella in his hands and a few ice packs because of the hot sun, he placed one on the child's head. then Tristan's raised his head to the sky with his eyes closed,

But he could still see the scorching sun, looking down he saw a luscious seen in front, the trees towered in the sky like the pillars of heaven, they stood their with a majestic and ancient air, as he drew closer the surrounding vegetation grew dense almost blocking his line of sight.

He took out his titanium sword and swung it at the tall bushes around him, after hacking at the bushes for sometime he got a notification from the system

Tristan then thought of something, he swung at the ground leaving a small mark in the ground,

Note: the world was stable for if he had done that in demonic realm the ground would have split open

Seeing that his attack left a mark he then began to slash at the ground furiously when suddenly system notification rang out,

After seeing that notification, Tristan confirmed his suspicions, he then cleared the surroundings while on his journey through the huge forest.

An hour of swinging the sword around made him tired, he had to switch hands multiple times the vegetation soon died down.

As he neared one of the huge tree, his head bent back looking up at the branches that covered the sky. He walked passed multiple trees but no vegetation grew around it Tristan thought this was weird so he stopped advancing for the deeper he went the bigger the trees got.

And the ground seemed to have gotten even more barren, were the trees where rooted in seemed bare or even lacking life.

Crackle, Crackle

The entire forest started to rumble and shake as if an earthquake had hit the area the system said in an alarmed tone

"Host run,"

Upon hearing that he should run he didn't dilly dally he turned around and ran towards the forest exit the child started to cry as if scared of what would happen to them, Tristan asked in a somewhat anxious tone,

"What's going on?"

The system replied "well the forest is a living entity, well its a forest dragon to be precise it leaves the ground every hundred years or so to stretch its body and find a mate.''

Tristan's steps quickened and before he knew it, he was a hundred meters in the air, he grit his teeth and jumped of into the lush vegetation below.

He made sure to cushion the fall so that the child wouldn't get hurt, after falling to the ground he looked and saw a massive head in front of him. His eyes where still closed and the head that was hundreds of meter length and about 50 meters in width, with rose to the sky it then roared.

Roaaaaaaar!!

The roar of awakening shook the surrounding, Tristan horridly place the noise canceling head phones he bought over his and the child's ears, after roaring to the sky the dragons head lowered.

It stared at the tiny thing in front of it, it's vertical pupil contracted as Tristan figure grew clear in its eyes.

"A human nothing interesting about it, I'm feelin a bit horny, I might as well prepare for flight."

Its thoughts drifted to the prospect of finding a mate, it then forgot about the insignificant creature below as it prepared to fly away.

Tristan's eyes opened slightly he wanted to see what type of creature he was looking at, as he opened his eyes vast amount of information flooded his vision, but he managed to search and find the information of the creature

Red level existence.

After getting this information he quickly closed his eyes but the dragon didn't sense a god damn thing.

Tristan then quickly left the area in order for him not to be affected by the dragons accent to the sky, his figure flashed disappearing from the area but as he was was running, he felt a few gazes on his back.
