13 13.) Another Fight

Once Morning came Angel and Balthazar Where in the air once more trying to find the scent they had found the other day since it was one of there teammates but so far no luck sadly so they kept flying till they came across a scent they did know making the two nodded and split up, so Angel went high while Balthazar went below as they were getting closer to the dark dragon's scent which was putting them on high alert, but since the wind was working in their favor the dark dragon wouldn't smell them till it was too late. Once they had caught up Angel growled and dived as Balthazar charge up knowing he could Dodge one of them but not both so with a roar Balthazar use his dragon flame making him Dodge as Angel release her ice flame hitting the dark dragon as she snapped out if the dive so now her and Balthazar facing off with the beast, the both growled as he charged at them and the fight was on the nether side giving up as they fought to give each other hits after hits till the dark dragon release a dark cloud making the guardians fly up to get out of it and use their wings to blow it away to show that the dark dragon had vanished so they both start to fly home.

To treat their wounds and to cool down from that battle Angel huffed as they flew through the air knowing one day that beast will be no more but till then they had to keep training and preparing themselves for anything, so with a roar, she headed down to the cave with Balthazar following since they took a lot of hits and needed to let their wounds heal before they could shift back, Angel sigh as she landed as they enter the den and landed on the dragon Pillow in their area. " We will get him when the time is right," Balthazar said, " I know but that doesn't mean I can't have hope that we defeat him before the others shift or the world gets attack" Angel said as she looks over then she huffed " that make me think why hasn't he try to spread his darkness pasted his island" she added. " I do not know but it is worrisome" Balthazar agree since there was no telling what he had planned for the world " unless he hopes to take down a guardian or more before putting his plans into action" he added his thoughts, " which we won't let happen with both of us watching out for clues for our teammates," Angel said strongly as she looks out the cave and listens to the wildlife " so many living beings are counting on us to protect them, and its job to take down the dark dragon but it makes me worry at what cost," she said and look over as Balthazar nodded since so much was riding on the guardians plus they had to be careful and protect their families as well, but of course their human scent isn't like their dragon scent which helps a great deal in making sure their families stay safe. As the two dragons rested they had no idea another was about to join their ranks and become a guardian which would anger the dark dragon since he would have to fight against the three of them instead of just the two, but that also meant the world would have one more protector watching over them and making sure the light of the world didn't die, of course, the world needs a balance of light and darkness which is why there is good people and evil people but the dark dragon would upset that balance so the guardians have to fix it.

Once the wounds have healed they both shifted back and headed upstairs so they could shower and change then have some dinner, Angel sighs softly once her shower was over with and she had clean clothes on while she headed down to make some food but stop seeing Balthazar " you can cook" she ask and watch as he chuckles and nodded " yes I can but you normally beat me to it" he said as Angel got to work on their drinks and setting the table " well I know we will need to buy even more food once our third member joins us" he said while Angel sigh and nodded " yes that is very much true" she said calmly and lean against the counter and cross her arms doing the numbers in her head glad they didn't have to pay for anything besides, water, electric and food since her family own the land for generations. " I know if none shifters saw us eat they would be freaking out," Angel said which got a laugh from Balthazar since it was true with their dragon's form they were pretty much bottomless pits when it came to food so they could keep their energy up. As the two sat down to eat their food somewhere else a girl was showing signs of becoming the third guardian dragon, of course, it would take a week for that to happen so of course, it gave the other two time to find her but sadly that won't happen till she shifts into her dragon. So as the two guardians got ready for bed they were thinking of who their new teammate could be and what the dark dragon next move would be since he just seems to be searching for something or someone at the moment which of course was scary though since there was no telling if he was hunting the last remaining members who haven't shifted or something that could help him in his plot to put the world in internal darkness which is something they wouldn't allow to happen any mater what, Of course only time will tell what he was planning so all they could do was get ready and train so they were in tip-top shape.
