10 10.) The Summer Dragon

Angel woke up at first light feeling much better then she did so she had gotten out of bed then she shower and dress for the day while she was wondering what to do when she decided to go to the dragon den while she of course left a note for her parents even though she was considered an adult, she still lives under their roof so she left a note and pin it to the board before making her way out. As she walks through the woods she listens to the music nature was creating while she looks around seeing many coming out of their homes as the nightlife went into their nest or dens.

Once she saw the Dragon Den up ahead she also saw a 6'7 man with brown hair along with a beard and mustache leaning against the railing " so you are the Summer Dragon" she asks softly, " yes I am and you did well last night for a first-time fighter" he said then push off the railing " Angel my name is Balthazar Redgrave" he said as Angel walks up to the porch and unlock the door " so how did you know I was going to be a shifter" she asks since he sent his gift the day of her birthday and not the day after she shifted. " A dragon shifter gives off a scent when they are about ready for the shift, so it gave me enough time to gather the books and come to watch over you since there only been one set of season dragons before us I would rather be safe than sorry," he said calmly, as the two-headed inside " this is the Dragon Den I figure when we all gather we needed a place to live, there also an opening in the side of the cliff for when we are in dragon form and want to rest" she explains calmly and took a seat as he went to look around.

Of course, all the rooms where master bedroom that had master bathrooms attached with walk-in closets, once he joins her in the living room the two sat down " judging by the pendent you are my second in command and I am guessing the other two have yet to shift" Angel said as she put her book down " that right and there no telling when they will" he said calmly as he leans back in his seat, " then we should start working on our teamwork tomorrow since we only got a glimpse of the evil dragon last night" she said which he agrees to. As the two talks they start to get to know each other which was a good start for their teamwork, of course, she knew it would take time for them to come up with good plans since they had no idea what the others would be like plus what attacks they would have of course Angel was a little clear with her season being winter so hers is more winter but the others not as much.

Angel listen closely to what he was able to do " so you have fire attacks while I have ice attacks they could make a good combo if we are careful, but it also makes me wonder what the others attacks would be" she said calmly. " That true if we find a way to balance out my fire along with your ice it would pack a punch then add on two more elements but with one being spring and the other fall there not telling what their elements would be," Balthazar said calmly while the move to the kitchen and bar, Angel start to make some lunch as she wonders what the other two would be like and when they would shift, of course, not all shifters came from a family of shifters every once and awhile a shifter would be born into a human family but it was, of course, rare for that to happen so they weren't to worry, but the worry was there in the back of there mind since sometimes they were not treated right.

Once they finish eating the two went outside and shifted so they could get used to there scents while also go flying together, while Angel was taller in dragon form Balthazar had more muscles then she did from his years of already being a dragon, while Balthazar had a golden color to his scales Angel had more of an icy blue theme to hers. Once they were air born and above the clouds they start to fly side by side while making sure to keep enough distance not to have their wings hit each other, " it feels nice to fly with another dragon " Balthazar said calmly while Angel nodded " yes it does and I am sorry you had to wait so long before another dragon shifter join you" Angel reply while the two flew through the sky, till Angel let out a roar that was soon joined with Balthazar roar as they dive down through the clouds and level out over the beautiful waterfall lake, Angel pulled her wings close and dove into the water then shot back out after a moment and flew over Balthazar back making water sprinkle down on her. Then she took off with Balthazar on her tail as they flew above the clouds once more as the birds even join in the game, since they could senses the two ment them no harm.

After some time flying they both landed in the dragon cave which was right below the house and rested on the pillows " I can see you put a lot of thought into the Den" Balthazar said as he looks around which made Angel nodded " I figure it would be best to have a cave attach to the house so we have a place to rest as dragons that no out in the open" she said calmly as she allows her body to relax.
