1 The Darkness Around Us

We've all seen it, the Darkness that is around us. The feeling of fear that holds in you. The shadow lurking in every corner of your house or in your mind. The Darkness isn't just around you, its within you. The Darkness is your past mistakes, The Darkness are the Tragedy's that you've faced, The Darkness is that voice in your head leading you into a horrible path. You can never run from it. It is always with you, it follows you and follows you until you can't handle it any more. It takes away your freedom, your happiness, your hope, including the people you love. The Darkness is the Monster under your bed that your "Mommy" and "Daddy" doesn't believe in. They don't want to believe it. Because it it's true and if it takes you away into the night, they will have nothing left but an empty room and broken hearts. The Darkness is the crimes you committed but don't want to believe. You can never outsmart it or beat it. It's impossible to escape it, it is invisible and untouchable, but if you are lucky enough, pray that it won't take you tonight.
