2 Bellatrix

"The child is the son of Evan Rosier and her Milicent and you can't deny that."

"Bellatrix is a crazy woman, Albus," Bagnold said shaking her head. Ever since they came back to the UK, Dumbledore kept requesting for the boy to see his mother. Though Bellatrix was married to the Lestrange family, everyone knew about her flings with the handsome Noble of the Rosier family. And it was now clear that this child belonged to no one other than Bellatrix and Eric. Bellatrix was said to be pregnant at one time with Rodolphus's child but it was suspected that the father might have not been Rodolphus. But before anyone could know anything it was said that her child died stillborn, though there was no evidence to suggest so.

No one knew why the child was still alive or what plan the dark lord was brewing but it didn't change the fact that the child had the blood of the Rosier family and the Black family. Unless Narcissa Malfoy or Andromeda Tonks had an affair with Eric Rosier and secretly gave birth to the child, the child belonged to Bellatrix, the only remaining daughter of the Black family and the only one who seemed to fit in with the timeline of the child's birth.

"And you should know that Bellatrix went insane only after the death of Eric and the loss of her child." Dumbledore insisted, "She is his mother Milicent."

"She is also an Azkaban prisoner, Albus," Bagnold said sighing.

"Yes, that she is." Dumbledore said, "But if we help her she might help us."

"What do you mean?"

"The mystery of the disaster is unknown and this Grimoire in this boy's hand is the sign of what the unknown future holds might not be as good as we think." Dumbledore said, "If we can get an ally on our side we might have a chance to know what is going on."

"You mean, to make Bellatrix reveal information in exchange for her son."

"It's worth a try," Dumbledore said making his stand clear on the subject.

Bagnold sighed as she nodded.

---------------------

"Bringing me back so soon, did you miss me?" Bellatrix's crazy voice rang through the empty hall. Her hands tied with chains and her looks as crazy as ever. It seemed like the few weeks she spent on Azkaban didn't have any effect on her.

Bagnold and Dumbledore stood in front of her, as the aurors left the room. Bagnold shook her head wondering how such a beautiful woman could be as crazy as she was.

"Bellatrix, we have a piece of news for you." Dumbledore said, "And I want you to cooperate with us."

"Unless the news is about the Dark Lord coming back, I don't want to hear it Dumbledore," Bellatrix said her gaze piercing through both Bagnold and Dumbledore.

"I think you'll find this new even better." Bagnold said, "It's about your son."

When the words dropped from Bagnold's mouth the room seemed to be chilled, Bellatrix shook her head a bit as if a shiver ran down her spine as she glared at the two of them not saying anything.

Bagnold smirked, as for the first time she saw the woman in front of her react in such a way, "It's true Bellatrix, your son is alive."

"Don't fuck with me, Bagnold." Bellatrix said reaching for her but the chains held her back, "Do you two think you can mess with me by using this ploy."

"Oh but we're not lying," Bagnold said as Dumbledore went out and bought the child with him. Bellatrix would never believe in the two in front of her but when she met the boy's eyes her own eyes opened wide in shock. Those beautiful eyes reminded her of one thing, her lover but this was too hard for her to accept.

"It's not possible, my child is de-dead. The dark lord-"

"Voldemort is evil Bellatrix." Dumbledore said, "He will tell a hundred lies before he ever speaks the truth. This child is truly yours. He was found three weeks ago, the night Voldemort disappeared in New York with, Felix Rosier calling him his nephew."

"We have all the proofs you want Bellatrix," Bagnold said throwing over some documents towards her, "It's all the blood test we took with the help of the Goblins and it is confirmed that the boy has Eric Rosier's blood in him including the Black family. So unless this child belongs to one of your sisters this child is none the less yours."

"Liar! LIAR!!" Bellatrix yelled uncontrollably.

Dumbledore and Bagnold looked at one another as Dumbledore decided to try one last thing. He nodded at Bagnold who readied her wand as Dumbledore walked closer to Bellatrix. Dumbledore walked closer and closer as he let go of the boy near Bellatrix which stopped Bellatrix's screaming.

The boy had just begun to walk a little so he barely walked a few steps before he stumbled on his way towards Bellatrix who was staring at him. Before he could fall, he was caught by Bellatrix who kept looking at him, her expression changing every second but soon she engulfed the boy in a tight embrace. As sounds of weeping swept across the room.

Bagnold nodded at Dumbledore as they stayed behind giving both of them some time together. After awhile Bellatrix sat on the ground holding her beautiful son, who seemed to be peacefully sleeping in her arms. Even Bagnold couldn't recognize the current Bellatrix, the woman who was said to be Voldemort's best lieutenant the one who tortured people to death, now had a peaceful smile on her face.

Bellatrix's caressed the boy's hair one more time, as she looked back at Dumbledore and Bagnold her previous peaceful expression was gone and the same terrifying expression in her eyes returned.

"What do both of you want?" Bellatrix asked getting straight to the point.

"The day he was found, Felix was under the orders of Voldemort to activate a rune which involved your son." Dumbledore said not mentioning a thing about the Grimoire for now, "That rune activated something that will likely bring danger to the world, dangers bigger than Voldemort himself. So we want your help Bellatrix."

Bellatrix stayed silent, her respect and love for the dark lord ended every second that passed by as she finally ended her thinking with a sigh.

"I have no idea about the rune." Bellatrix said but before Bagnold could say something she continued, "I wasn't even aware of my son's existence before this, so you can't expect me to know what Voldemort plans were now, do you? You can use the bloody Veritaserum on me if you don't believe me. All I can tell you is that he'll be back and this time I am telling you this as a warning not as his faithful servant."

Bellatrix calling the dark lord by his name was enough of a change. Dumbledore had expected as much so he nodded, he had now managed to at least get Bellatrix on their side like Snape. Snape's bane was Lily and now Bellatrix's bane is her son. Having someone with her strength by their side was the most useful thing for now.

Bagnold, unlike Dumbledore, wasn't happy. She wanted some form of information about the rune and the Grimoire but it didn't seem like she was getting any. Dumbledore pulled Bagnold aside for a couple of minutes understanding her concerns while Bellatrix went back to caring for her son not paying attention to the two anymore.

Her sharp eyes quickly fell on the bracelet and ring in her son's hand. As intelligent as she was and along with countless information she had gathered throughout the years being the eldest of the Black family's daughter and a Lestrange, she knew what the bracelet meant. Cursing herself for following the Dark lord like a fool she gritted her teeth until her eyes fell on the symbol of the bracelet.

That symbol of the Dragon was something she had seen before, in one of the Black family's book. But it wasn't good news as revealing it could bring more trouble to her son than anything imaginable. She looked at Dumbledore and Bagnold having a discussion as she decided to keep the information to herself until her son grows old enough to face the troubles that will soon be coming his way.
