1 Episode 1. Pilot

I woke up with the worst pain in my neck I could have ever felt. I pulled all the blankets off my cold, shivering, body just realizing something strange. I could see my breath. At first I thought "Oh I must have left the AC down stairs." Then it hit me, the AC can't go that low. I think to myself that I could have left a window open. So I shake it off and slowly nudge my way out the door. I make my way down stairs to the sweet, savory, smell of bacon and eggs. My mom repetitive as ever said, "Grayson did you finish your homework." For a short second I take a second to process what she said in disbelief.

I wanted to give her a verbal smack down about how she always asks if anything is done or complete.

I porked down my food so I could walk my best friend to school. I ran back up to my bathroom to brush my teeth and fix my hair. I hate to say it but I look damn good. Dark brown hair, silver eyes, and a brawny build. What's not to like? In all fairness I wanted to look my best for her. A lot of people refer to us as a dynamic duo. I can't imagine my life without her. She is always there for me through everything I've ever gone through. Did I forget to mention that she is my neighbor, yeah pretty cool. I finished spiffing myself up and leap through the door of the bathroom and down the stairs, you could think I was flying. I wish my mom good luck for her job interview and then burst out the door.

The cold, crisp, air chilled my body and froze my breathe. I walk ten meters away from my door and there I see her, Sydney, the most charismatic, bubbly, loving person you could see. Her wavy, dark, blonde, hair almost brown, shined in the morning sunlight. Her eyes, the color of amber and her perfect figure could make any man drop dead. Her personality was magnetic and practically drew me towards her. I waved hello and she playfully ran up and punched me in the stomach. Sometimes I wonder if she is actually 7 instead of a 16 year old sophomore.

She looks at me dead in the eyes and says, " My legs are tired." Of course being the smartass I am I say, "well that's just a bummer now isn't it." She gets a smirk on her face and says, "Well your gonna have to carry me or I'm not going." I don't know why but she always know what to say to make me smile. So I slide my backpack around so the pack is on my chest and she hops on my back. I tell her, "If you said giddy up I swear..." Sydney looks at me like I just read her mind. I take a glance at my watch and I'm about 5 minutes to school with 1 minute until it starts. I put myself into full throttle and start sprinting. I get there with my passenger about a minute late and she has the audacity to say, " Wow some piece of junk my car was." Everything she says, I swear, it's so cute and funny. I open the doors to the office and;
