1 Yet to be seen

At the time , a pinnacle moment in history, the turn of the second millennium since the dawning of Christ, widespread joy was shared between those around the globe, parties were thrown and disputes were settled as new ones arose, for that one moment , bliss befell the world.

bliss is ignorance , however what is yet to be seen cannot be feared, as of yet...

The clocks stuck , and within an hour widespread euphoria rattled the nation of America likewise the world.

Within the crevasses of China between the maze like architecture an oval like structure stood, it followed the eyes for it was not in a 3rd dimension, it was flat, yet it floated emitting a bright blue tinge seemingly the only source of light for miles within the bustling mega cityscape.

Life continued and operations resumed those who were needed went and those who were befitted as useless rotted.

Within the halls of a medical facility screams echoed as the fluorescent lights shone brightly on the pale walls , the floor somewhat reflective, within in a door laid a room where doctors surrounded a woman, she laid for she was in labour , for what seemed years passed and the baby was delivered, a baby boy.

The women's face cleared as she stared at the baby , her child however before a word could be uttered she fell faint, rushed out of the room the baby cried within the arms of a nurse, he was escorted away.

The populace fell by 12 percent and birth rates plummeted, urban areas collapsed as the urban fringe remained flourishing, those within rural areas saw a boom housing prices rose and demand for low labour jobs rose, the primary sector, the growing of food also found itself in a rapid growth as food was sparse.
