8 Chapter 8

The next day Jian finally decided it was time to exercise his new powers. He thought about his current financial situation and choose to do a quest for some extra cash .He packed his stuff in the magic bag and made a shower.

He left the inn after eating breakfast and went to the adventurer guild.

Inside the Adventurer's Guild

"Is he the one ?"

"Yes, it is him."

2 Guard immobilize him

Immediately Jian was handcuffed.

"What is the meaning of this ."

"You are under arrest for the killing of 7 people ."

Jian analyzed the situation he was in . Inside the room were over 9 guards, all of them had unlocked their first gate and were using mana to increase their strength. The guard that talked to him was probably the captain. Jian knew this because unlike the other guards who were using level one body strength increasing their body power by 7 % he was using a level 3 body strength increasing his body power by 18 %. This type of spell not only increased your power but also your speed and reaction time .

"Sir , with all the respect I haven't killed anyone."

"Lies , we have the confirmation from the witnesses. You were seen leaving the guild at the same time with the 7 victims , however only you are left alive."

"Than you also know about the amount of money I had on me at that time ."

"Irrelevant ."

"So you know ,than you also know why they followed me ?

"It doesn't matter !" said the captain almost going mad

"May I ask you how is that you put a 12 years old under arrest for the murder of 7 trained mans that even passed the adventurer's test.After all I am just a kid how do you expect me to kill 7 adventurer by myself.?"

"Since you were able to kill even a level 2 monster a few adventurers shouldn't be a problem for you." The captain himself didn't thought that the kid in front of him was able to kill a level 2 monster however he needed a justification to put him under arrest.

Jian also understood that the man in front of him was after his money and it didn't matter what he would say he would still end up death .

"So it be " said Jian

"Soldiers take him out of here."

Jian let himself cought waiting for the right moment to escape.

"Were do we take him " one guard asked ?

"In the forest , we can't let the people see us, the guards of this city killing a 12 years old kid . Also if we are cough by someone that we arrested an innocent person just to steal his money we would end up in trouble."

In the forest

"Say , were are the money .Respond or else your life will end now . "

Jian already expected this. However he still had to wait a little more .

"In my magic bag."

"Search his bag ."

One of the guards than tried to take the bag however right in that moment Jian made his move .

"Fire ball."

The guardian face was now in fire.

"AAAHHAAA"

"You bastard you don't want to live anymore." One of the guards that stood next to him said and attacked him.

However the captain had an ugly expression.

"How , those handcuff were made with level one monster cores . It should be impossible to use magic for a level one wizard while having them on ."

However what he didn't know was that Jian wasn't a simple wizard . The handcuff were made in such a way so they would make the mana circulation unstable making it almost impossible to channel the mana through your body so at the same time making using spells impossible . However Jian control of mana was countless time better than that of normal wizards so it was normal for him to be able to use his spells while having the handcuff on. However he still needed some time to use his mana since he still needed to calm his circulation . Anyway this type of handcuff are useful only against level 3 wizard at most because the creation of each hand cup required a dozen cores of the same level the wizard you want to capture is ,and since level 4 cores are very few in the entire world nobody can afford to spend a dozen of them making pair of handcuff.

Jian dodge the attack and used his mouth to steal his bag were he kept the keys .

He than ran away as fast as he could using a speed spell that made him 26 % faster than normal .

"We need to catch him! We can't let him escape." Said the captain . He was knew what the consequences would be if Jian escape . He could tell the other authorizes about his plan of stealing his money . Even if somehow he wasn't believed , the fact that he arrested someone and tried to kill him without a proper trial was an act of treason .

The guard followed Jian in the forest .

"How can he be this fast !"

"Why isn't he getting tired ." the soldiers that were exhausted asked

Jian was extremely happy , he ran for 40 minutes , and made sure the guards haven't lost him .

After that he used one of his potion "Jumping boost" to climb into a tree .

The guards soon arrived

"Sir what do we do , if we try to climb he will shot us with fireballs !"

"Cut the tree !"

"But sir this tree is to big , it will take us at least 3 hours to cut it ."

"It doesn't matter as long as we catch him ."

"Yes sir , we will start Immediately."

"Good , let's see how much can you resist up there !"

Jian wasn't however showing any signs of fear . He was just waiting . In an hour and a half his waiting finally ended

"Sir we have a problem !"

"What ...." The captain turned around just to see the burning tiger killing one of his soldiers .

"They felt for it ." Jian thought , he intentionally choose to run in this direction because here is were the burning tiger nest is .And he climbed in this tree to wait for the burning tiger to come . This was all his plan .

"Take position , kill this monster ."

"AHHHHH!!!!" the guards screamed while the burning tiger ate them .

"How can it be so powerful , it's just a beast after all , even level 2 monster aren't that strong ....

could it be ..... a LEVEL 3 monster !!!."The captain finally realized who he was fighting with

"There is no chance ..... even if the entire city defense would be here ... how can such a powerful monster be here! I need to tell the city lord about this , if he decide to attack the city..... we need reinforcements ..... the royal army ... maybe the lords protectors .... no it's to late , I won't even survive...."

The captain thought while his last solider died .... The tiger than jumped on him puting him on the gorund ... The blood was flowing out of his body .... he felt cold even though the fire coming form the monster burning him ...., just before his last breath he saw one last thing .... one boy standing in the tree smiling .

"Did he knew this ... that a level 3 monster was here .... it can't be ..... but why did he let us follow him up to this point and than suddenly climbed in the tree , he could of escape a long time ago but he let us catch up . Everything makes sens now .... " And so the captain died

After the all the guards were killed Jian finally came down .

"Do you remember me " asked Jian

The burning tiger was watching him but didn't attacked . It clearly remember Jian and how he was injured by his attack.

"So you do remember me !" said Jian and took three potion out of his bag .

"This time , i will win !"
