3 Chapter 3

He stood there,in the middle of the street, unmoved for about 10 minutes before a merchant passing by with his carriage requested him to move .

Even though his memories were chaotic and the information he found were vague he could still understand the basics .

The most important thing is that with appearance of his past life memories he also unlocked the first gate .

"It seams that the first gate is everything I can open right now however in the future i might get my powers back."

There isn't a word in this world that can express how excited he relay was.

However with his memories back the hate inside him only grew up .

It seams that i must become more powerful before i can take revenge.

After that he want to see his father that was waiting for him .

"Father i decided to stay here for a while."

"Son, what are you talking about , you are only 12 if you leave now you will break your mother's heart ."

"I know this,please apologize to her in my behalf , but i already set my mind."

"I guess i can't do anything for you other than to let you free. Son , be careful this world is very dangerous , come back if you ever need help."

"No need , I know I was a bad father , i can't change this now , take this and learn a carft , I have a friend that is a master in crafting jewelry , if you are interested.."

"I already know what I want to do father. There is no need for you to do that."

"My son, remember , me and your mother will always love you .I will take my leave then ,I will come to visit you as soon as i can."

After his father left Jian was finally free , no friends no family , no one to betray him.

He watch inside the bag his father have gifted him before he left and found 10 silver coins .

"This is enough for me to live 3 month without working."

Getting dark outside he decided to find a inn to stay.

"Excuse me, where can I find an inn."

"Oh, i think is one just at the end of the road."

After a 10 minutes walk he found it.Just when he entered the room he heard:

"Hey kid, what are you doing here ?" said an old man with a scar on his face

"I want to stay here over night , are there any rooms left."

"Of course however they are expensive if you can't afford just go back from were you come."

Just than an old women came :

"Zorden , stop bulling the poor kid "

"Whatever, however if he doesn't pay is your problem ."

The women just ignored him and asked Jian

"How can I help you"

"One room please"

"That will be 15 cooper coins "

"Here."

"The room is right there , if you want you can join us at the table , you have on meal included ."

"Thank you!" said Jian and took a sit

"Ah , you are realy lucky,you come when the old man Zorden is telling his stories."

"Yeah every week he tells a story from when he was an adventurer ."

From what Jian knew the Adventurer's Guild is an organisation that exist in every country and is very powerful .

It existed even in his last life . It was made at first from a few groups of brave mans who loved exploring and wanted to become stronger. In only 20 years it became one of the strongest power in the continent with over 200.000 members. Not only the number was big but they were strong and independent , so there was no need for the guild to pay for their participation. After another 5 years they made a pact with every country in the world .The pact was very simple :

Every adventurer will have free entry in the cities and they will can enter any country anytime .

At the same time they will sale monster cores to every country in the world .Also there were a few more things about the law and quest system. The countries weren't very happy with this conditions but they could't do anything as the adventurer guild was already strong enough to stand on equal ground with their armies . Also while imperial armies are very expensive as every soldier must be paid monthly while the adventurer guild was different , they didn't had to pay anything to their soldiers because of their politics .

"Every adventurer is your brother , you will help him and he will help you.

Just one of us is weak , but we shall stay together and ask for our rights.

We must prove our strength to the world and make them fear us .

The Adventurer Guild become even stronger after it monopolized the monster core market.The adventurer could sell the monster cores directly to the guild saving him a lot of time , allowing him to explore more, than wasting his time trying to find the right buyer .

The monster crystals can be found in the center of the monster. The creature is made out of mana,and the monster crystals is the place were their mana is stored .The monster cores are of 7 types , each one of level is equivalent of one more gate open if we compare to humans.

They can be used in many ways , the low levels can be used in agriculture helping the crops to grow faster .

The higher level can be prepare by an alchemist in a life elixir that can increase the life span of one . The most powerful cores can be used in opening the first and second gate and even help a little in opening higher gates , however it was very hard to find those.

The adventurer guild was ruled by the top 10 strongest adventurer . Each 3 years there will be a contest that will decide who will lead the guild for the next 3 years.

Before he knew it was already the middle of the night . As he was very tired he left the conversation and went to bed.
