7 Chapter 7: "We need to do training!"

[Days left to enter the dungeon: 5]

[At the garden]

"These are pretty!" - Kenso pointed his finger at blue flowers.

"Ah, these are called spiritual flowers. Alchemists use those to make magical potions." - Kasaya smiled at Kenso.

"Did Ratel tell you?" - Kenso suddenly became serious.

"He did, but I am not sure. What if we fail? What if we die? Lairen and Qune were very strong, yet they died. And the monster devoured their souls, so he became stronger than he used to be. How can we stand a chance against such a beast?" - Kasaya was worried.

"We need to do training! We will become strong enough to defeat that beast together."

"But you gave us a limit of five days! We can't get much stronger in just a few days! Are you insane?!"

"That's why we won't be training like usual. This training will go far beyond our limits. We will train until we eventually pass out."

"But still, it's nearly impossible to get that much stronger in just five days!"

"Trust me, you won't regret it."

Kasaya looked at Kenso. Her eyes were staring at him as if he had something on his face. They didn't say a word for an entire minute. Kenso was waiting for Kasaya to state her opinion. She looked down and said:

"O-okay. I will get revenge." - she whispered and Kenso couldn't hear it.

"Sorry, could you say that again?"

She looked at him and said out loud:

"I will get revenge for my sister!"

Kenso smiled as he heard her statement. He was glad he managed to convince her.

"That's what I like to hear! We should proceed to our training as fast as possible. Do you know whether the others agreed for the revenge?"

"Ratel told me they did."

"Okay, then. Let's find them and start the training!"

They left the garden and headed towards the house. Kasaya started to admire how brave Kenso is. She became a bit jealous, but she was also glad she had met him.
