1 Prologue

In a Galaxy far, far away...

The Desolate planet of Tatooine with its hot environment and deserts was located at the Outer Rim of the said galaxy. The planet orbited two suns named, Tatoo I and Tatoo II. The whole planet was covered in harsh deserts, and only a small part of its northern hemisphere could sustain intelligent life.

Despite all that, there were some cities on this planet with life forms of many kinds living there. One of these cities was Mos Espa.

Mos Espa was a spaceport controlled by the Hutt clan; It included a number of commercial and workspace settings, as well as entertainment establishments such as the Mos Espa Grand Arena. Mos Espa was also home to a number of slaves.

The slaves lived in a part of the city named the Slave Quarter. Within a certain building inside the salve quarter, a boy that seemed to be 11 years old was asleep on a simple bed.

The boy had a light tan and wore simple white clothes; His black hair was short and straight. He suddenly gasped and his dark eyes opened then he sat up, his face covered in sweat, he breathed rapidly as if he had had a nightmare.

"What was that dream? I dreamt of living in a different world..." He murmured and remembered the dream. He had dreamt of living a different life on a desert planet. In the dream, his parents had died and he was taken as a slave...

He observed the surroundings and froze, "It wasn't a dream... Those were memories! Did I just Transmigrate into this body? I faintly remember falling asleep like usual back on Earth... How did this happen?!" He muttered to himself with disbelief.

He pinched his thigh and felt the pain clearly, 'This is not a dream... What is going on?!' he thought and began panicking a little, "I didn't meet any strange being nor did I die... How did I transmigrate into an 11-year-old body?"

Before he could continue the conversation with himself, an old man entered the room. The old man had a weary face but a healthy body.

The boy looked at the old man and seemingly recognized him, 'According to the dream no, memories, My name is Leo Vanis and this old man is my grandpa, Burin Vanis, who used to be an engineer and works as a slave to repair parts... I work as a cleaner and errand boy...'

"Leo, let's go to work..." Burin said with a sigh. Leo concentrated to remember more...

'They were a family of engineers for space ships, They had to land on Tatooine due to an emergency malfunction on their vessel a month ago. It was Leo, his parents, and Burin. They were attacked by criminals, the parents died and they took Leo and Burin then sold them as slaves. The spaceship was also taken by them... So that is this body's story? Based on the setting and the name of this planet... I am in Star Wars!' he concluded.

He had started to feel a little numb for some reason...

"Leo, stop daydreaming... We have to work or we will starve..." Burin said kindly. Leo nodded and stood up, he followed the memories and changed clothes, then left the building with Burin. The weather was very hot and dry but his body seemed to be used to it so he adapted very fast.

During the walk, he continued thinking, 'What does that make Earth? Are all fictional worlds real? Doesn't matter if they are and it doesn't even matter how I got here. What matters is that I am here and what I am supposed to do from now on... Going back to Earth seems impossible so I have to forget it, there is nothing to go back to anyway... What now?'

He felt a little lost, He didn't know what to do. His mind went blank. He observed the various races walking around the streets and felt it was surreal, 'Aliens... I am actually in Star Wars!' It suddenly hit him, 'There is so much to explore and learn in this universe, From Space ships to the Force... I can do so many things!'

They reached a shop and he felt a hand on his shoulder, he turned to look at Burin. The old man said with a kind smile, "Leo, Don't pick a fight with Lor-Vetan. He works for the Hutts and it is not wise... He can kill us with the chips... Just be patient, I will think of a way to save us."

Leo frowned but nodded. They entered inside; Leo saw a bunch of parts that belonged to various sorts of ships and machines lying around. He saw a muscular man who grinned when he saw them. "About time you little shits."

The man pointed at a broken part and said, "Oldie, get to work. Hoy, little bastard; Go take the letter from there and give it to that disgusting bug, Watto."

Leo felt a little angry but then he remembered the situation and calmed down, 'I have to wait for a little and figure out what the hell I am going to do...'

He simply picked up the letter and left the shop. He focused and remembered the path. He felt a little uneasy and nervous as he entered the shop and saw Watto. He felt like it was normal but part of him was disgusted and repulsed. The shop looked familiar...

Watto didn't acknowledge his presence as he took the letter and shooed him away. Just as Leo turned around to leave the shop with a frown, he came face to face with a blonde kid. 'This is Anakin Skywalker? Darth Vader to be? He looks normal...'

The boy looked at him and said, "Hey, Leo. How are you?"

Leo was a little taken aback but he smiled and replied calmly, "Thanks, I am busy so see you later..." And left. Anakin seemed a bit surprised.

'So Anakin knows me? Not surprising since I live near him... I met two fictional characters and they were real as real gets...' he thought and returned to the shop.

The rest of the day he just ran errands and grew familiar with Mos Espa. He merged with the memories and thoroughly accepted the situation. He was busy remembering all the memories and accepting them, walking around Mos Espa helped this.

During the whole day, he began to felt strangely numb... He was still in a state of shock without knowing it.

A week passed and nothing changed. The meaningless and dull life began affecting Leo. He grew frustrated and angry regarding the situation. He couldn't study anything interesting during the day because he had to run errands until he was exhausted. And he had to sleep at night to keep up.

And despite that, he and Burin could only barely get something to live on with. The life he had expected to live in the Star Wars universe seemed to be a foolish dream. Lightsabers, core worlds, and space ships were so out of reach... He began to feel despair. He was too weak to stand up for himself... What could he do? He was in the body of an 11-year-old.

Burin thought of his actions as something expected since Leo of the past had also behaved the same way. The old man blamed himself.

'Am I going to be a slave for the rest of my life? No one will save me...' The future seemed dark.

One day, Just as he and Burin were about to leave the shop of Lor-Vetan with despair evident in Leo's eyes, something was thrown toward him. Leo felt something strange and unconsciously extended his hand behind him and caught it.

"Nice catch! That's your pay, eat something with it, now screw-off..." Said Lor-Vetan and left.

Leo ignored him, 'What was that feeling? It felt strange... As if I always had a sixth sense but it was dormant till that moment.'

Burin saw Leo blankly staring at nowhere so he dragged him away thinking his grandson was too angry to respond. Burin thought, 'I failed Leo, how pathetic am I?' with self-hate.

Leo was still focused on that feeling all the way back to their house. He stepped into his room as Burin left to make something for them to eat.

Leo concentrated on the feeling, he felt like he could grasp it but he never did, it was like trying to grasp smoke, it would move out of his hand.

'Maybe I shouldn't grasp it? Maybe I should pull it toward me?' he wondered and saw a small bug in his room.

He extended his hand toward the bug and tried to pull that feeling toward himself.

He felt a connection to something, strangely, the moment the connection was made possible; he was reminded of the way Lor-Vetan treated him and his mind was over-flowed with anger and hatred.

He felt fear that he would die or remain a slave for the rest of his life. A chip was in his neck that could take his life anytime...

The emotions raged within him, 'How dare someone order me around?! How dare they plant a chip in my body! How dare they kill someone's parents and sell them as slaves after... How Dare they make an old man like Burin work as a slave? I was too confused and in a state of shock when I came to this body and just analyzed everything but now I see it completely...'

He knew that he was not Anakin skywalker, no one would come to save him and the reality of it made his fear and anger greater. He was taken from Earth and came to be alone in a world without any idea. He could see himself dreaming to someday travel the galaxy but rotting in a backwater world like Tatooine till he was old just because of a chip... His Dreams crushed... The reality of a slave.

He realized he had to leave behind his morals shaped by Earth. He had to evolve in order to get the ability to do what he wanted. He had to stop being passive and start becoming aggressive; to fight for his dreams.

'I am all alone... I refuse to be a slave!' His eyes widened in anger.

A great emotional turmoil shook his being, the emotions far too intense as if stimulated by something external.

Something whispered to him, it was as if he was whispering to himself... 'Don't you want to be free? Break the shackles that hold you. All you need is power...'

Leo's eyes lit up and glowed a faint red color, 'Yes, Power... If only I could use the Force...'

He gazed at the bug in front of him, his eyes widened a little, the bug had withered away and it lay dead on the ground. A faint red smoke-like thing that glowed slightly flew from its body to his hand and fused with him, he felt strange. He felt the connection with the sixth sense that he had felt before grow stronger and better.

He was amazed; 'That was so great, like a flow of power rushing through me... I grew stronger... Was that Force Drain? I can use the Force after all.' he thought with joy.

He looked down at the bug and felt nothing bad, it was a strange experience but he enjoyed it.

'Am I a Jedi? Do I feel no emotion? Is there peace? No! There is only power, without power I will continue to be a slave. No one will save me so I must save myself and for that, I need power. There is Passion, Strength is most important, those who lose die as slaves and I want to live as I want so I must be the victor, The Force shall set me free, indeed. Then I am a Sith...' He thought and felt a connection with that sensation.

'If the dark side is the rope that will save me from this pit of despair, then I shall grasp it with all my heart.' decided Leo with determination.

He remembered something, those who walked the dark side of the force ended up with bad endings. 'I know the future, no one can stop me. To be free I must be stronger than everyone. Only the Dark side can set me free... I don't care about balance or anything; As long as I am strong enough, nothing can stop me. Being strong is against the balance in and of itself so greys can go to hell...'

His eyes glowed in a faint red color as he smiled, 'Yes, The 1st step is to Drain things to grow stronger but I must remain hidden. I will practice with the Force at night. I must look out for the Naboo ship during the day to make sure I avoid them since they will hunt me if they feel the dark side. After they leave... hehe... I will conquer this planet. Lor-Vetan your end shall be full of pain but I must endure until the Jedi come and leave...'

"Leo, come food is ready." Came the voice of Burin.

And so Leo began walking the path of the Dark side.

-----

I wanted to write some star wars so I wrote this. Tell me what you think. It is a bit rushed but this is a prologue so it's not that important.
